Guess I'll Be The One (BYE)

The Letter

"Me? Forget? Never!" - Peter Pan.

Dear Riley,

I've never been so happy in my life until I actually met you.

I still remember the day you first talked to me, the day I first met you, prom, the first day you told me I was beautiful, the first time you called my baby, our first date, the day I said yes, that day we first kissed and all the other firsts we had.

When you smile, it makes me fall in love with it every time. When you kiss me, all those fireworks just blows up. When you hug me, I feel secured. And when I'm with you it's like there's no other world that exists. 

Thank you, baby, because you never left me. Thank you because you loved me for who I am and you never asked for anything else. Thank you becuase you never failed to reach out and understand me and my problems.  Thank you because you never had second thoughts about me at times when even I doubted myself. And thank you because you never changed.

You make me smile whenever I'm not okay. You make me laugh at times of despair. You gave me a shoulder to cry on when I needed one and you were always there when no one else was. But most of all you gave me hope that someone can still love me.

I loved you because of you and not because of your fame; and I would never ask for more. I know nobody's perfect in this world; but for me, I don't need someone who's perfect and I can only dream of when I have my reality in front of me, and that's you. Someone once told me, find that someone who'll love you more than you love him. And I think, no. I know I've found that someone in your presence. 

I tried so hard to forget about my painful past because I know you came into my life to change it. and make my future a brighter one. I said yes not because I wanted a boyfriend, but because I know you're the one. We may not always be together at all times because you have your own life and I have mine but know that no matter where we both are we live in the same earth, we look at the same sky. And somehow that makes us connected. 

I'll never ask for anything else, except for the hopes of us staying together for a long time. Don't forget that I'll always be here by your side whenever you need me. And lastly, don't ever ever forget that no matter what happens, I loved you, I love you, and I will forever love you.  

I love you, Riley, and I hope you'll hold on to it when I say it. No matter what happens after this, whether you give up on me or not, know that I have loved you with all my heart. 

I'll never get tired of telling you I love you because I do. And now every time you doubt that I do, read this letter as proof to how much I love you. 

 I guess right now, before I exit, I could say that you have made a difference in my life. 

I love you, to infinity and beyond.
