Phil walked just behind me as we walked through the kitchen and into the living room where the others were. Mark was giving Jack a piggyback ride as requested, and it was just a bit strange to see the older boy carrying someone of his similar height around. When we walked into the room, everyone looked up at us calmly.

"Didn't work?" Troye asked. He turned to Connor and kissed the worried boy's cheek. "See? I told you..."

"What do you mean didn't wor-" I was cut off by Phil's warm hand covering my mouth. He leaned close to my ear and shushed me, making me shiver.

"They can't see us because we're your sin. They have to summon their own sins to see us..." He whispered before pulling his hand away from my mouth and leaning away from me again.

I looked over at Mark. Jack seemed to be lazily explaining the same thing. He wasn't nearly as cautious as Phil had been, however. He was simply speaking as if he was bored.

"Why do you say that, Dan?" I looked over at Chris, who looked slightly freaked out as he looked at Mark and I from the couch.

"I...ah..." I looked back over at Mark, unsure what to say.

"It's... Complicated?" Mark finally said, with more of a questioning tone than anything.

Shane shook his head. "How complicated can it be? You just tell them you're offering a blood sacrifice in Latin before making a small knick and waiting."

I had almost forgotten that he had written down the instructions. I almost asked how he knew...

"You act like it's that simple!" Mark said, immediately looking like he regretted it.

"How would you know?" Shane asked, "The instructions were simple enough..."

"He needs to summon his sin." Phil hissed into my ear. I waved him away like a fly and he simply hissed angrily at me. Wasn't he such a terrifying sin?..

"And what's his sin?" I asked lowly.

"Sin?" Shane questioned, "Oh god, please tell me you guys haven't gone super religion the short time you've been gone."

I looked over at Mark nervously. How were we supposed to explain this? I didn't want to, if it was for the demon standing behind me... Or the one currently riding on Mark's back...

"He's not gunna believe ya." Jack said, laying his head lazily on Mark's shoulder.

"You...I can't explain..." Mark stumbled over his words.

"Shush, Markie Moo..." The small Irish demon giggled.

"Guys, what's going on?" Connor asked softly. Troye shushed him soothingly, wrapping his arm around him and rubbing his back.

Shane was looking between us again. His eyes were suddenly growing wide. "It worked, didn't it?" He questioned. He got up from the couch and continued to look between us. "Oh my god..."

"It's hard to explain..." Mark said.

"Then I need to see it, don't I?" Shane said, stepping forward.

"I don't thin-" Phil covered my mouth again. He shushed me and shook his head.

"Patience, Daniel." He said, darkly. That tone made me shut up.

Shane walked right up to Mark, rather than me. "Where's the kitchen?" He asked, "It has to be done alone."

"Shane I really don't-"

"Shush." He said, already walking past us. "I know where it is!"

Connor shifted next to Troye uncomfortably. He had a nervous look about him as he looked down at the floor. Troye simply put one arm around the light haired boy and held his hand.

Chris slid off the couch and came to stand in front of me. "What's going on, Dan?" He asked.

I side glanced over at Phil, who only shrugged. "Well..."

"Did it work?" Chris asked quietly, trying to avoid attracting Connor's attention.

Before I could reply, Shane screamed from the kitchen. Chris' eyes grew wide before he bolted past me. Mark and I exchanged looks before following, leaving a confused Troye and Connor in the living room.

Shane was on the floor of the kitchen, looking up at the counter. Sitting calmly there, was a boy with white hair. He kicked his feet, looking slightly amused at Shane's reaction.

Chris only looked confused. "What? Did you see a spider?" He asked, looking between the counter and Shane.

"Oh yea, he can't see me, Sweetie." The white haired boy said, "He hasn't summoned his sin yet. Poor PJ..."

"What the fuck!?" Shane exclaimed, pulling himself up to his feet with the help of the cabinets behind him.

Chris turned back to Mark and I. "I think he's finally gone mad." He whispered.

Mark and I exchanged looks again. The demon on Mark's back just sighed.

"Tell him now or let him figure it out himself..." Jack said, playing with Mark's hair.

"You can't see him!?" Shane asked, pointing at the boy on the counter.

"I have a name." The white haired boy rolled his eyes, "I'm Joey, you human peasant."

"Excuse you?" Shane shot back.

"Guys!" Chris' expression changed from confusion to concern. "What is going on!?"

Shane reached on the counter and pulled the notebook close to him. He then tossed it to Chris, who barely caught it.

"You need to do it. Just do it." Shane said as Joey walked over to him, a smirk on his face.

"Trust him." I agreed, grabbing Chris' hand and pulled him through the kitchen to the small bathroom at the other end.

"Dan, what the hell is going on!?" Chris demanded as I pushed him into the room.

I wasn't really sure how to explain. "You've got to see to believe." I told him.

"Did it actually work?"

I looker back at the kitchen. Shane was gripping Joey's shirt tightly as their lips moved together. Mark was standing with Jack still on his back; Jack having braided several strands of the blue hair on Mark's head. Phil was on his way over, raising an eyebrow at me.

"Just... You need to." I said, shutting the door to leave him to it.
