Oli's PoV:
It's 10 am, and we are at the hospital for Lissy's appointment, I'm more nervous than her to here what the doctor needs to talk about.
"Mr and Mrs Howell-White, if you would like to step into the office?"
We walk in, she is smiling, where as I am sweating.
"So how is your stomach feeling Melissa?"
"Good, big" she laughs.
"Well, do you mind if we do another ultrasound? The intern running your last one, when you found out the sex, left it until 2 days ago to tell us that she saw... Something"
"What?" I ask, beginning to stress.
Lissy puts her hand on mine, "sure" she smiles, lying in the bed.
He puts the cream on, and smiles when he looks at the scan.
"What is it?" I ask.
"Oh well, your wife is pregnant with TWO baby boys, congratulations!"
Lissy, is almost in tears, tears of joy.
But I am not, 2 kids at once? 2 boys? So many responsibilities. I run out of the hospital room, leaving Lissy, why did I do that?! I'm such an idiot, but I had to! I run into the house, where Dan lies with his legs over Phil's lap.
"What's wrong Oli?" Asks Phil, I sit on the chair next to them.
"Twins, twins! Babies! Boys! 2 twins!"
Phil looks confused where as Dan knows exactly what is happening.
"You left my little sister at the hospital while she is pregnant the day after the wedding because you're worried about twins? Ugh Ffs!" He laughs.
"Look Dan I know it's crazy, but-"
"Oli, there is no buts!"
Phil, being himself, laughs at dans use of the word "buts" causing Dan to attack him with a cushion.
After they finished fighting Dan sits back down, ontop of Phils back, making him unable to move, begging for mercy.
"Anyway, Oli, what I was saying, there is no buts, that is your wife! They are your kids! I know it's scary but they will rely on you! So you need to be a man and take that roll, because I had to be the responsible one between me and Phil, do you know what that's like? Having Phil is like having a wife and 12 kids! But you get used to it, because once you have them, once they're there in front of you, you fall in love, and be grateful they're yours, because soon enough you'll find out they're the best thing that has ever happened to you." He smiles, getting off of Phil, to kiss him.
Dan is right, when is he wrong? That's what really annoys me about him.
