Anna's PoV:
*has been awake for 22 hours*
I've been told by Lissy and Charlotte everything, about Phil, but they don't know about Tash.
"Girls. Are you going to say your goodbyes?" Says the nurse sadly walking in. "Goodbye? To who?" Asks Lissy. The nurse looks guilty, "you haven't been told..."
"TOLD WHAT?!" Shouts Charlotte losing patience.
"Tasha, she, she has been relying on life support for too long, we have to switch them off, it's not right for the body to artificially stay alive-"
"Hold up!" I shout cutting the nurse off. "You are not turning the life support off!"
"We have to Anna, it's the best thing."
"FOR WHO?! YOU?! YOU WANNA SAVE AN ELECTRICITY BILL OR SOMETHING?!" Screams Lissy.
"Lissy, maybe she is right, it's what's best for Tash" whispers Charlotte, tears streaming down her face.
"No! NO GET OUT NURSE, WHATEVER YOUR NAME IS! YOURE NOT KILLING MY BEST FRIEND! RIGHT ANNA?!" She looks at me, tears run down my face and I start crying, loud. "Lissy, don't make this harder than it has to be, the doctors can keep her on that life support but she will never wake up! Her life will be nothing! We have to think about Tash! It hurts me just as much as it hurts you but she is not living life right now! There is no use!" Every word coming out of my mouth is hurting me, crushing me.
"No. No. This- this!" She cradles her head in her hands crying, as Charlotte hugs her.
The nurse grows impatient.
"Do you want to say goodbye or no-"
"GIVE US A SECOND YOU INSENSITIVE COW!" Screams Charlotte cutting the nurse off, the nurse quickly rushes off.
