Chapter 5: Planning and Packing

Eddie's P.O.V

"That's an insane idea! I mean how are we going to convince everyone to let us just fly to AMERICA at the BEGINNING of the semester!" Fabian exclaimed

"We convince EVERYONE to go!" Alfie says

"How will we do that?!" Amber said

"We infest the house! We can get a bunch different animals and get them to go all around the house so we all have an excuse to go!" Alfie goes again.

Everyone started to agree! NO! NO!NO! They can't know! It will put everyone in danger!

"Um...I don't think that's a good idea! They would probably make us stay in another house! I mean come on, why go to America anyway?"

"Ah come on Eddie! We wouldn't just put it in our house we would put it in all the houses so they would all go home, and we could all go see Nina!" Alfie explains

"Guys, I really don't think it's a good id-"

"Please! Babe, we really want to see Nina!" Patricia says

"Fine!" I give in. Patricia always knows how to break me, I can't help it!

"So how are we going to get all those animals?"

"I know a guy." Alfie smirks

We all started packing because,today was the day Alfie was going to let all of the animals loose. I was nervous because I am going to be in so much trouble for letting them come. No one is suppose to know about ***!

"Hey, do you have my jacket?" Fabian asks.

"Uh, no.

"Ugh! I can't find it anywhere!" he says with frustration

"Fabian, relax! What's going on with you? You've been acting all mad and frustrated since we made the plan!"

"Nothing."

"Um, are you sure because-"

"IM AFRAID OKAY! I'm afraid.." He goes into a whisper

"Of what?"

He sighs, "Of seeing Nina for the first time in a year! Me having to explain to Nina, why I didn't fight for her! why I didn't think I could win if I fought for her."

"Dude, what are you talking about?"

"She is beautiful, smart, funny...she could date any guy she wanted to! I thought I wouldn't have any chance of being with her again! I held off for a year, hoping she would just show up one day and we could be together! But right when I give up and try to move on, she really was coming back. I thought she was over me! And it completely CRUSHED me to hear from Amber that I broke Nina's heart and prevented her from coming! What do I say?"

"Just tell her what you just told me! It's only hard if you make it hard." I say walking out

I walk into the kitchen where Joy and Jerome are arguing about what they want for dinner, like always.

"Hey guys!" I say to Patricia, Amber, and Alfie who are sitting in the living room watching a movie

"Hey Weasel." Patricia says as I snuggle next to her.

"What are you guys watching?"

"Insidious Chapter 3!" Alfie says

"How'd you get Amber to watch it?"

"She's not watching it, she's hiding in her hands." Patricia laughs

"Turn it off!!!!!" she whines
