I arrived at Elena's house in 30 seconds, considering we live next door to each other. I knock on the door and Jenna answered it. "Are you here for Elena's dinner party?" She asks me.
"Yes, and she also told me that you have a hot date tonight." I say back.
"Ugh I do, but I really don't know---"
"You have to go on this date!" I tell her.
"Not you too, Marissa. I thought you would've been on my side."
"I'm Elena's side, sorry." I say as I walk past her into the house. I walk to the dinning room and see Elena and Bonnie.
"See, I told you Marissa was coming to the dinner too." Elena says.
"Hey guys, I found some stuff out today. I'm not supposed to tell anybody, but since there's one here anyways....."
"Marissa, what the hell are you talking about?" Bonnie says.
"I'm a witch!" I say.
"What?" Elena asks. "I thought that stuff was myths."
"Yeah, same." Says Bonnie.
"Bonnie, how can you say that? You're one too. We can even practice our powers together, you know help each other. Look, I'm the most powerful witch on earth, and I would love if you guys would support me." I say. Bonnie and Elena get up and come hug me.
"We do support you. We just don't want you to get hurt." Elena says.
"My aunts say that they almost get killed on a daily basis by demons." I explain.
"Wait, was that you in class today, with Tanner? You know the books flying around the classroom?" Bonnie asks.
"Yes, it was. I didn't even realize I was doing it. I need to learn to control my powers."
"Powers?" Elena asks.
"Yes. powers. I have all of my aunts and mom's powers combined. I only know of one power right now. Do you want me to show you?" I ask. Before they could answer, someone knocks on the door.
"I'll get it!" Elena yells to Jenna. Elena walks to the door while Bonnie and myself stay in the dinning room.
"I don't have good vibes when I'm around Stefan. I feel like he's gonna hurt or attack someone." Bonnie tells me.
"Good evening ladies." Stefan says when he enters the room.
"Hi," I say. "I'm Marissa, and this is Bonnie." I say pointing towards Bonnie.
"Well, let's eat." Elena says, as she sits down.
"Hey, where's your brother?" I ask.
"I don't know, maybe getting high again." Elena says. We all start eating when Bonnie kicks me, and I start to cough.
"Are you okay?" Asks Stefan.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I lie. "Elena, I have to go, but thanks for inviting me." I turn to Stefan. "It was nice meeting you." I stand up, and walk to the door. I walk outside, looking down at the ground, when I see a shadow. I look up.
"Ah, what is a young, beautiful, women doing out here all by yourself?" The man asks me. He's tall, dark, and wearing a leather jacket and black jeans. He has short dark brown hair, with sparkling blue eyes.
"I was on my way home." I say. He walks closer towards me.
"You know, it's dangerous to be out all by yourself." He says while moving my hair to one side of my neck, inspecting it. "Someone could hurt you." He says with a smirk on his face.
"Thank you Elena, for the dinner, but I have to go. I promised my uncle that I would help him clean the house." I says while getting up.
"Oh yeah, no problem. I'll see you tomorrow." Elena says to me. I walks out the door to see Marissa and my brother Damon. He looks hungry and about to attack Marissa. I walk over.
"Hello, Brother." I start. Damon looks up at me.
"What now, are you going to save this poor girl now, Stefan. Oh that's right, you don't know how to be a real vampire!" Damon yells at me. while gripping Marissa by the shoulder. She looks scared, I should help her.
"What are you doing here, Damon?" I ask.
"Well, I couldn't miss your first day of school, now could I?" He says to me.
"Let her go. C'mon Damon. She's a witch, a Halliwell witch at that." I tell him. Damon looks into Marissa's eyes. "Forget, this. Forget you ever met me." He says and lets her go. She looks over at me and runs away.
"So, how's my favourite baby brother?" Damon says.
"Knock it off Damon. We both know you came back for Katherine, but she's probably dead now, so get over her." I say as I walk away.
I am face to face with this stranger asking me what I am doing out here all by myself and do I know how dangerous it is for me to be out here. He grabs my hair, and puts it to one side of my head. I look up and see Stefan coming. He starts talking to this man, and I think that he knows him. Then this man looks me in the eye, and the last thing I remember is leaving Elena's house. I run home and go to bed. Stefan seems a little odd. He was quiet at dinner, and I felt this weird presence when I was around him. Maybe Bonnie's right, maybe he is a killer. I go upstairs, and go to bed.
