I sighed as I sat down, putting my bag under the table. I sat back in my chair and sunk down.

"Alright there?"

I swing my head to the right and sigh obnoxiously. "No."

With a prominent smirk my blonde haired, blue eyed best friend rests the palm of her hand under her chin, drumming her well manicured fingers against her cheek. "Are you by any chance still hungover?"

I sat forward. "There's no word for it. I'm losing my marbles Saara."

She breathed a laugh through her nose. "What's going on?"

I shrugged. "I'm literally hallucinating that my cat is speaking to me."

She looks at me for a second before slapping her hand on the desk and erupting into hysterical laughter. "Please tell me you're joking?"

The look on my face clearly said it all because her laughter slowly but surely died down. "Start from the beginning."

I sat up and turned my body to face her. "After waking up yesterday I went downstairs and he spoke to me."

"Your cat?"

I raise my eyebrow. "Yes my cat."

She pursed her lips to bite back on laughing. "What did he say?"

"He told me he was hungry."

She laughed again. "Lia, you're making a big deal out of nothing. You drunk a lot on Saturday, you were probably still drunk."

I sighed again. "He said goodbye to me when I left the house this morning."

She looked at me for a split second before bursting into fits of laughter again, I rolled my eyes, slumping back in my chair and crossed my arms. "See this is why I don't tell you anything because you take the piss."

She wiped under her eye, "You don't expect me to believe that do you?"

I held my hands out in front of me. "Do I have reason to lie?"

She hummed a response as more people entered the class. "Oh, there's lover boy."

I rolled my eyes. "Shut up."

"Hey Jack." Saara says from next to me as he sits down in front of us.

"Hey," he says, twisting his body to face us. I looked up at him and he grins the exact grin that makes me melt from within. "Saturday night was heavy as fuck."

"I know," I said, sitting up. "I woke my mum up when I got in."

He laughed. "Yeah I crashed in my downstairs bathroom, there was no way I was making it up the stairs in the state that I was."

I shook my head. "I was fucked up." I laughed.

"So when are we getting smashed again?" I was greeted by Thomas who sat down in front of us next to Jack.

I cringed. "Not for a good while for me, I'm convinced I'm still half drunk."

He scoffed, "White girl wasted."

I grinned and held my hands up. "Guilty."

"Yo, squad!"

I looked to the empty chair on my left and the lack of space next to the boys in front of me. "Oh no." I mumbled.

"There she is, birthday girl." Deone said, chucking himself down next to me and draping his arm over me.

"Her birthday was on Saturday." Saara said, raising her eyebrow at him.
