Tessa is the kind of girl who isnt afraid to have fun. Shes a party girl at heart, and isnt afraid to show it. shes been with so many guys she lost count. nobody knows her secrets, and trust me she has pleanty. But theres pleanty of secrets that she doesnt know, secrets that will change her life... forever. Tessa was hungover, misserable. But she had to blow it off because she made plans to go shopping with her mom.

"i. dont. wanna. go." i mumbled before rolling out of bed. my mom said we should leave bright and early to get a full day of shopping in, and i am not a morning person... expecially today.

i went to the bathroom and plugged in my straightner, and pulled out my makeup. i stumbled to my closet and grabbed the most 'i look like im trying but i really dont give a shit' outfit. some white shorts and a navy blue cut off shirt that showed off my new belly button ring. I straighted my hair and did a smokie eye. inspecting my nearly perfect choice of shadow colors.

i walked downstairs and saw my dad at the kitchen table, he looked at me and continued reading the paper. my dad has always been like this, we have never gotten along as long as i can remember. my mom was making pancakes and hashbrown, my favorite breakfast EVER. i sat down and fiddled with my belly button ring till my mom brought me my food.

"dad?" i asked with a mouth full of pancakes.

"what?" he said being short.

"do you think i can go to a party tonight?"

"you went to a party last night."

"so, i dont drink or anything, you can trust me." i said. i have got to be the best liar in history.

"ok tessa, but only if you drive your brothers clothes back to him tomorow."

"but his campus is like 3 hours away." i complained

"thats the deal, take it or leave it"

"fine." i said not happy with having to waste so much gas cause my brother cant do his own fucking laundry.

I had finished eating and grabbed my purse and car keys. i jingled them signaling my mom it was time to go. she grabbed her diet bar and kissed my dad goodbye. i didnt wanna watch their 'everytime we seperate from eachother' makeout, so i went out and started the car. it was about ten minutes before i went back inside to get her. they werent in the kitchen, so i went back out turned off my car and came back in. i put my purse on the counter and walked to their bedroom. i sat on the step and listened to their conversation.

"mmmm oh my god tessa's in the car" my mom said obviously pulling away from a very long, but nasty as fuck kiss. i ran down the stairs , grabbed my purse and darted to my car, as quickly as i could i turned on my car and buckled up just in time. she was fixing her hair and she opened my car door and plopped down. "sorry tess, i had to... uh... finish something up."

i didnt say anything, i just backed out of the driveway and headed for the mall. i wasnt about to argue with my mom about what just happened, we faught enough as it is.

I pulled up at the mall and parked in the parking garage.

"im gonna go to express, you can go to jcp or wherever you shop." i said turning off my car and getting out.

"no, i wanna spend time with you, and im buying. buy whatever youd like." she said almost begging me to say yes

"ok" i said, as long as i didnt have to spend my money, im cool with it.

we walked into express and i grabbed about six armfuls and headed to the dressing room. i spent extra long debating on if i liked each artical of clothing. i settled for half of what i grabbed and came out, i looked for my mom everywhere, couldnt find her... looked like i was buying my own clothes.

i decided to go to victorias secret to buy some new thongs and stuff. i walked and saw the cutest pink lace bra and matching thong... SOLD. i went the the pink section and grabbed some leggings and a really cute purple sweater. i walked over to the check out and payed for my stuff. and went inn search for an auntie annes pretzel shop. i found one and made a b-line for it. i stood in line for about 10 minutes but its worth it.

I was about to order when there were about 200 people running past the shop tward the exit, everyone was screaming and wailing. i was more curious than scared, so i fought against the crowd until i came to the end of the riot. i wandered around the corner and saw a puddle of blood coming from behind the massage chairs, i wanted to turn around and ran, but i continued. i reached the edge and reluctantly looked... i should have ran when i had the chance.

"mom?" i said trying not to cry

I stared at her lifeless body, i sucked up my tears as i heard a bunch of footsteps running tward me.

"put your hands up!" a man yelled behind me.

"im her daughter." i said still standing above her body.
