"May I have this dance?" Two people's gazes meet for the first time as a boy holds out his hand to a girl sitting in the corner alone.
"I... uh... don't know how to dance." Is the reply.
"That's alright."
Take my hand, I'll teach you to dance
I'll spin you around, won't let you fall down
Fingers entwined, the young boy and girl walk to the dance floor together.
"Here, I'll teach you."
Would you let me lead?
You can step on my feet
Give it a try, it'll be alright
Their eyes lock as they swing in time with the song.
The room's hush, hush
and now's our moment
Take it in, feel it all and hold it
Eyes on you, eyes on me
We're doing this right
They become so entranced that they don't even notice when their foreheads begin to touch. To them, they're the ony people in the room, focused solely on each other.
Cause lovers dance when they're feeling in love
Spotlight shining, it's all about us
It's all about us
Right then and there, something falls together that can never be undone.
And every heart in the room will melt
This is a feeling I've never felt
But it's all about us
