Luke's POV

I was sat at the back of the classroom during chemistry when I heard the the door open, I looked at the door to see an unfamiliar girl enter however when I looked up to her eyes, they sparkled like a gem and reminded me of something but at that moment of time my mind was blank and all I could think about was her eyes and her beauty.

"Atwa-Marie is it?" Mrs Gierson asks the mystery girl. She shakes her head, "It's Aquamarine, but please call me Aqua," she says smiling. That one word 'aquamarine' made some memories flood back, "I'm Aqua, short for Aquamarine."

It was her. The beautiful blonde from the abandoned park.

Mrs Gierson must have caught me staring as she says, "Luke, need any hell? You look lost." I shake my head and turn my glance to my chemistry book.

I would occasionally look up from my book to have a glance at Aqua, she is beautiful, like no other.

I felt upset when I realised that Chemistry was the only class I had with her so the rest of the day my attention was paid to my books, not on blue gem eyes, Aquamarine.

On my way home I noticed a familiar rusty old gate, the abandoned park. I decided to go through my secret gap as it had been a long while since I'd been here.

I stopped coming once I realised Aqua was never coming back.

I sit on the swing the same one as the one I sat on when I met Aqua.

My thoughts were interrupted by a familiar voice, "Luke?" I look up to see a familiar pair on ice blue eyes. Aquamarine. I was so happy she remembered my name. "Hey," I say trying to act smooth. "Your in my chemistry class right?" She asks, I nod my head while secretly my heart dropped, she doesn't remember me, she only knows me just from school.

"Do you come here all the time?" She asks and I shake my head. "I used to come here as a kid," I says. She joins me on the swings, "It's a nice place," she says while looking around admiringly. "It is," I say with a smile growing, just being happy to talk to her even if she doesn't remember me.

"Well I better get going, my mom will get worried," she says while standing up, "I'll see you tomorrow?" I nod in reply while standing up.
