I groaned when Chiron told me my quest. I was going to Hogwarts for a year. And the worst part, it was exactly one week after fighting Gaea! Can't the savior of Olympus get a break! I sighed and went to the Athena cabin to tell Annabeth.
I found the cabin empty except for my girlfriend. "Hey Wise Girl." Annabeth turned around and kissed me. " Hi Seaweed Brain!" I shifted my feet nervously. "Annabeth?" " Yes Seaweed Brain?"
"Um, well I'm going on another quest."
I flinched, expecting a mad Wise Girl. I nervously looked at her face. She was furious! She shouted " SEAWEED BRAIN YOU SAID YOU WERE DONE! CHIRON BETTER HAVE A GOOD REASON TO-"
I stopped her by pulling her into a kiss. I then explained how I was going to Hogwarts on an urgent mission to protect one of the students. She started to calm down as I finished. Then we were silent for a while. Finally, she spoke " When are you leaving Kelp Head?" I responded after clearing my throat with " Tomorrow."
Annabeth then pulled me into another kiss. I favored it and I knew right then that it was going to be a long year.
