Footsteps echoed along the corridor. A man walked down the long hallway of the palace.
He had bright yellow hair with a blue feather poking out the front of his hair. The man wore glasses, they were slipping down his nose as he hurried along. He wore a long white lab coat that draped down around the back of his ankles. There was a light blue mark on one side of the coat. It was the letter P.
The man quickened his pace. He fumbled with a stack of papers in his arms that displayed lots of data numbers.
At last, the man reached a door at the end of the winding hallway. The rusted, metal door was bolted shut with hundreds of random bronze locks. Next to it was an accessible touchpad with a forest green tinted screen with faded red lines running across it.
The man tucked the data papers safely under his right arm and raised his left hand. He bit the white lab glove that covered his hand and pulled carefully. Holding the glove in his mouth, he put his, now exposed, left hand on the cold touchpad. The faded red danced across the screen, analyzing the man's hand print.
The touchpad beeped and there was a flurry of noise as the bronze locks unlatched themselves from the inside of the rusted, metal door. The man grabbed the doorknob and flung the door open. It hit the opposite wall with a bang. The man paid it no heed. He quickly descended down the narrow staircase that led to a large room.
Inside the room, there were hundreds of boxes full of Arceus knows what. One was filled with an assortment of pens, paperclips and other office supplies. Another was filled with broken needles. All of which had still held liquid in them. The colors of the liquids had mixed together to make a brown sludge at the bottom of the box with pieces of the broken glass needles poking haphazardly out of the box.
In one corner of the room, there was a large system. It was a large box that had two computer touchscreens revealed out of the top of it, displaying charts and graphs full of numbers. (You know the weird thing Colress used to control Pokemon with? Yeah, that's it!) There were tons of random colored wires connected to it from plugs along the wall next to it. Next to the machine sat two chairs, which were currently occupied.
The man rushed down the stairs, trying to organize his papers, put his glove back on, and fix his glasses all at the same time.
"My apologies, my lords. I had to put a few finishing touches on my data." The man addressed the two figures sitting in the chairs, while he fixed his gloves and glasses.
In the flickering light of the broken lamp hanging down from the ceiling, you could see the two figures. The older male wore a red eye piece and a heavy cloak. He smirked evilly.
"Dr. Colress, as long as it is of use to our plans for Pokemon liberation, it is quite alright."
The yellow haired male, Dr. Colress, smiled and pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose, the lamp light reflecting of the lenses. "My Lord, I have been training my Project very hard, in high hopes that it will please you. Please, come take a look at its power!" Colress gestured his hand at the opposite wall, away from the stairs and the machine. Along the back wall, all the way on the far side, was a single pure white door. Next to it, stretching all the way to the edge of the same wall, was a long window, bordered with red strips of metal bolted in with rusted screws. Inside the chamber, the lights were turned off.
Dr. Colress walked over to his machine and powered it up, trying to get the lights inside the chamber to come on. He muttered, " come on....just a little farther...aha!"The lights inside the chamber flicked on, illuminating the dark room the three other males were in.
Inside the chamber, it was an almost empty. The walls had long, deep slashes in them, as though something was desperately trying to escape. Blood was spattered in some spots. In the very center of the room, locked up with chains around its wrists, ankles, and neck, was-.
"Behold, Project X!"
