Chapter 1

It was a sunny day at canterlot high. But not for sunset shimmer. After the unfortunate mistakes she had made at the fall formal she didn't think she would ever get over her past. And today it was even worse. In the gym, the students were preparing for their first ever musical showcase. It was a fundraiser for after school programs. The busy gym was crowded with handmade posters and art supplies. Of course no one wanted sunset to help!
But luckily the humane 5 wanted her to come over. She smiled but it quickly faded as she heard whispers arise from the students around her.
"Do you like our poster sunset? It's quite the dazzler!" Rarity chirped.
"And it's cake scented!" Squealed pinkie pie.
"How did you," applejack began.
"Frosting works just like glue!" Pinkie said.
"Hello students great work on these posters!" Principal Celestia said as she walked in with her sister vice principal Luna.
"You all help make this event spetacular! Unlike someone's actions at the fall formal..." Luna said glaring in sunset's direction.
The rest of the students did the same causing sunset shimmer to curl up into a ball of humiliation on the gym floor.
Later, the girls were in the band room. Sunset sat on the piano looking sad.
"I'm never ever going to be forgiven for what did!" She cried.
"Well you were a evil she-demon." Fluttershy whispered.
"Yeah, enough chit chat! Time to practice the Rainboom's latest hit!" Said Rainbow Dash.
We are all together, oh woah woah.
Now it's better than ever, oh woah woah!
You can feel it, we are back. And I'm so glad that were better, better than ever!
As the girls played, they grew pony Ears and tails! They called it ponying up.
When they finished, their pony attributes vanished as they returned to normal.
"I still don't get why it happens!" Applejack said.
"Who cares why, we sounded fantastic!" Rainbow shouted in triumph.
That's when a blue haired guy burst in. It was Flash sentry.
"You guys are sounding great!" He said.
"Yeah," Rarity said.
"What's up Flash..." Sunset said trying to smile.
"Oh hi..." He muttered angrily.
"Why are you here?" Sunset snapped.
"I just... Wanted to know if twilight might come." He was obviously in love with the purple princess which caused sunset's eyes to burn with jealous tears.
"Sorry flash I don't think twilight will be back." Fluttershy said sadly.
Flash nodded then left.
"Let's try my other song!" Rainbow said proudly.
"Um can we play my song?" Fluttershy said.
"Sure later" Rainbow shooed her away.
"Oh I better run. I gotta show some new students around." Sunset hopped of the piano and dashed out the door.
