Her Bodyguard

Chapter 1

-HIS YOUR BODYGUARD!-

Shana opened her eyes and let out a sigh as she covers her eyes from the sunlight coming from her window. It's only seven in the morning and her dad already ask her to join him on having his breakfast before going to his office. Marahil maytoon itong importanteng sasabihin na hindi na maaring ipagpalipas pa. He rarely disturb her in her sleep kaya naman sigurado syang importante ang sadya nito.

''Yaya, what kaya my dad will tell me that couldn't wait tell tonight?" tanong nya sa may katandaan na nyang yaya na parang pamilya na rin ang turing nya.

''Hindi ko alam. Buti pa, bumangon ka na dyan para mapuntahan mo na yung tatay mo. Ihahanda ko na yung susuotin mo. Bangon na.'' 

Nagstrech pa muna sya bago tumalima. She didn't bother putting ona robe to cover her pantulog. Silky shorts short na may partner na spagetti strap tank top. Hindi na rin sya nagabalang magsuot ng bra, magtooth brush o kaya ay magsuklay. What for? Mga katulong at ilang bodyguards lang naman ng tatay nya ang naroon. Sanay na ang mga ito sa kanya.

She walked out her bedroom while humming a song. Whatever the news her father will tell her, she won't let it ruin her day. Mahirap nang magkaroon ng pre mature wrinkles sa face nyang hindi pa kahit kailan natutusok o nahahawakan ng belo medical stuff. And she doesn't have any plan to do so anytime soon.

''Good morning dad.'' she greeted her father with a big smile bago humalik sa pisngi nito.

''Good morning.'' wika nito pagkatapos uminom ng kape.

''Dad, why did you ask for me this early?'' kunotnoong wika nya dito habang kumukuha ng isang pirasong toasted bread. 

Nagtanggal muna ito nang bara sa lalamunan bago sumagot.

''I've got you a bodyguard and he'll start today.'' baliwalang wika nito bago nagpatuloy sa pagkain.

''Dad! You promise me no more bodyguard after my eighteenth birthday! What the heck!'' pasigaw na wika nya dito.

Her father knows how much he dislike having a bodyguard with her. Ilang bodyguards na ba ang nagdaan sa kanya noon na tumatagal lang ng ilang buwan? 

''I know. But it won't change a thing. You need a bodyguards and you will have a bodyguards.''

''Bodygurards?! AS IN BODYGUARDS?!'' 

WOW! She knows that they are rich. Super rich, infact. But to have a bodyguard with and s, that is insane!

''I'll introduce them to you now so you better behave yourself young woman.'' he said with finality on his voice. 

''No! You didn't even talk to me about it. You didn't even ask for my opinion. I thought you trust me.'' nagpupuyos ang kalooban na wika nya.

''Shara Marie San Jose!'' that is all it take for her to shed a tear.

How can her father do this to her? How can he break his promise to her? She only had her freedom two years ago. Bakit ganun-ganun nalang kung bawiin nito? What did she do to deserve this? 

''Julie, papasokin mo na sina Lindon.'' utos nito sa yaya nya na nakalapit na pala.

Ilang sandali pa ay pumasok ang tatlong kalalakihan sa kanilang dining area. When she look at them, lalong nagpuyos ang kanyang kalooban sa sama ng loob.

''Lindon, meet my daughter, Shana. She will be the one you all are asigned to protect. I don't want want her to be harm in anyway. Lalo ka na Lindon. I trust kumpadre's word when he told me about you. Do not disappoint me.'' may diin ang bawat salita ng daddy nya sa tatlong nasa harap nila.

''Shana, this is Lindon, Matthew and Leo. They will be incharge of you. Lalo na si Lindon. He will be constantly beside you. You will be together for a long time so please cooperate, princess.'' may halo nang paglalambing sa boses ng ama. 

But her eyes and her thoughts are wondering sa tatlong lalaking kaharap to notice. The ones with the name Leo and MAtthew are quite handsome. But the guy named Lindon, hooks like a hired goon. Hair that is a little too long for her liking, nose na hihingi ang tulong ni doctor belo, may kalakihan at katabaan na lips, that when she looks at, naiisip nya si Nickie Minaj. The guy's too tall to. Nasa lampas anim na talampakan at limang pugada ata ito. Maitim. Mascular. Yung tipong pagpapantasyahan ng sangkabaklaan ang katawan nito. Hindi nya like. The only pleasing to the eye na feature ng mukha nito is his eyes and eyebrows. 

''Makakaasa po kayo Sir. We will protect your dauther with our lives.'' wika noong si Lindon.

Infainess with his voice. You will think of a handsome man kapag boses lang ito ang naririnig mo at hindi mo nakikita iyong mukha. 

''I'll take your word for that.'' wika ng tatay nya. 

The men shook their hands as if sealing a deal. Base din sa na'notice nya, mukhang itong si Lindon ang lider.

''You know what, Lynden. I could lend you some money to have doctor Belo do your nose. You can also tell them to make your lips smaller. And maybe don't make tambay muna sa gym for a while. You look too bulky eh. Like a bouncer in the club. Don't worry, i'm not gonna make interest the money i will lend you.'' wika nya dito ngtaos sa puso.

''SHANA!!'' dumadagudong sa buong hapa kainan nila ang tinig ng ama. She look at him wearing a face that asked her dad what she did. Tiningnan din nya ang mga kasama ni Lindon when she heard their supress laughter.

''What? Did i do something wrong?'' nababahala niyang wika.

''Apologize to Lindon.'' paguutos ng daddy nya na nagpakunot ng noo nya.

''Why would i when i am just stating a fact. You know daddy, I am actually trying to help him. He will not get a grilfriend and be married and have children if he will not have his face fix. I'm being helpful pa nga eh. Di ba, Lynden?'' 

''Shana!'' 

''Dad!''

None of them is backing down. Why would she apologize when she is infact being nice. Is it wrong to be honest with him and to tell him what he should do? 

Napatingin sila kapwa ng ama sa taong tumikhim. 

''Lindon, let me apologize for my daugthers ill behaviour. I'm sorry for her tactless mouth.'' namumulang wika ng ama kay Lindon.

Ngumiti pa muna ang binata bago sumagot. 

''No need to apologize sir. It's all good.''

In all fairness, this guy when he smiles, he kinda looks bearable to look at, ha.

''And thank you for our offer ma'am. I'll think about it.'' wika nito sa kanya na siyang nagpangiti naman sa kanya.
