The strays

Phils POV

After last hour ended I rushed to my locker to put my stuff away and then practically ran to Dan's locker.
He greeted me with a smile as he put his books away.
"You ready?" I ask.
He nods and we begin to my house.
"Tell me about yourself" Dan says.
"What would you like to know?" I ask happily.
"Just tell me anything and everything." He replies.

"Alright, well growing up I've never really had any friends at all. And nobody has really ever tried to be my friend. Until you came around." I smiled. "I've always been bullied for being gay as well. I hope that me being gay doesn't bother you. I love bands and sleep and the Internet. I have a YouTube as well, I have a few hundred subscribers right now. I absolutely love making videos." I say shyly with a smile.

"Woah, well I'd love to be your friend, Philip. And you being gay doesn't bother me at all actually because I'm gay too. I've always been bullied for it and that's why we were forced to move. Also, a YouTube!? That's awesome. I've always wanted to be a YouTuber." Dan said excitedly.

"We should definitely make a video tonight then! Also, where do you live?" I ask as I turn to walk up my drive way to the back door.

"Actually I live a house away. That house right there is mine." He points to his house laughing.

"Awesome!" I say getting extremely happy the guy who actually wants to be my friend lives next door.

As we walk into my house my mum greets me with a kind hello and stops dead in her tracks when she sees that someone is actually here with me.
She smiles brightly and says
"Phil! Who's this young man?!"

"Mum, this is Dan. He's my new friend. He just moved here and lives only a house away."

She smiles and shakes his hand excitedly.
Dan and I venture up the stairs to my room.
"Alright, so do you want to make a Q&A video for my YouTube?" I ask
Dan happily agrees so I post on all my social media to send in questions for our Q&A.

"This was the most fun, I've ever had." Dan says and I couldn't help but to tackle him into a hug. He's just so cute and irresistible. I'm so glad someone is actually enjoying my company.
"Phillipp, you're still laying on me in a hug, silly, what're you thinking about?" Dan asks.

"Oh, nothing really, just that I'm so glad someone like you actually wants to get to know me and lives only a house away." I say quickly and shyly.

"Awhh" Dan says and boops my nose, "can I call you lion?" He asks quickly.

"Call me whatever you like." I smile.
I really enjoy having Dan around.
"So what do you want to do until you've got to leave?" I ask
"How about watch something?" Dan suggests.
"CAN WE WATCH BUFFY PLEASE." I beg.
"Of course." Dan agrees, laughing at my sudden child outburst.
