Chapter One

Your pov

You sit in your carriage on your way to a manor by the invitation of Elizabeth. You aren't sure how this going to go but you hope a disaster doesn't happen because you worked hard to get where you are now. You have had a shaky path with ups and downs but mainly downs and you were not going to ruin it now. You look out the window and stare at the snow that blankets the ground and you sigh. "Miss. (your name) is everything alright?" your hand maiden asks. You nod your head as you turn to look at her, her name is Tessa and she has been with you since you first started to build your reputation. "Are we almost there?" you ask and she says "almost! We have about fifteen minutes to go" she says happily. "Good, my legs are starting to cramp up and im getting incredibly bored" you sigh. You have been in the carriage for almost two days and you haven't had much time to stretch. "Soon Miss, but in the meantime would you like to read a book?" she asks. "I'm good thank you I think I shall rest a little before we arrive" you say and get into a position that's comfortable. Before you know it Tessa is gently shaking you because you have arrived. You sit up and look out the window the manor is beautiful. Soon you get out and you see Elizabeth and a boy standing at the steps waiting to greet you. You walk up to them and curtsy "Good afternoon I am ( your first and last name)" you say. "We know who you are silly!" Elizabeth says. The boy then takes your hand it kisses it "I am Ciel Phantomhive of the Phantomhive manor" Ciel says. "Your manor is gorgeous you say looking at it awestruck. "Thank you" he says and a tall man comes up behind him. You look at the man and he stares at you in a harsh way that sends shivers down your spine. "I sense that you are exhausted after that long carriage ride, would you like my butler, Sebastian, to take you to your room?" Ciel asks. Sebastian then bows "Good afternoon, milady" Sebastian says. "That would be perfect thank you" you say even though the butler gives you the creeps you just want to sit down some place and rest. Sebastian leads you into the manor and soon you are in a room. "This is beautiful thank you" you say looking around. "You are very welcome, would you like some tea to have as you rest?" he asks kindly. "That would be wonderful thank you" you say and he bows his head and walks out. You sigh and sit heavily onto a chair and wait for your tea to come. Soon after you have your tea you feel refreshed enough to walk around the place. You soon see Ciel and Elizabeth sitting down enjoying some tea and just chatting. You go up to them and ask "may I join?" Ciel nods his head and you sit down. "Oooh (your name) you have got to tell me everything that has happened in your life since we last talked!" Elizabeth squeals excitedly. You sigh but smile and say "not much has happened lately surprisingly enough" you sigh. "Oh come on we both don't believe that now tell me all the details" Elizabeth says. You look over at Ciel and hes looking at you "you just don't want to tell me because Ciel is here!" Elizabeth says. "Uh yeah that's the reason" you say. "That's fine you can tell me later!" Elizabeth says and then just starts to talk about the things in her life. Soon Sebastian walks up "Lady Elizabeth I'm terribly sorry to interrupt, but your mother is on the telephone saying that it is urgent and that you must go back home now. Your grandmother is ill and they're afraid she may not make it through the night" Sebastian says this and Elizabeth starts to freak out Ciel stands up in attempt to calm down Elizabeth but it does little to help. "I apologize Ciel and (your name) but if it's an emergency I have to go" She says and hug Ciel and hugs me too. "Maybe next time this will last longer" she sniffles and walks out the door. You stare at the door where she left "um, I guess now that she left I guess I will have to leave now" you say awkwardly. "You don't have to leave you just got here, you can stay a bit longer and besides it tends to get lonely here so I don't mind the company I guess" Ciel says. Just then Sebastian comes in the room and says "Dinner is ready".
