Our Night

***Kaycee's POV***

Our kiss was short and sweet but it held a lot of emotion. I loved the way I felt at this moment. I was on cloud nine, Niall had just confessed his love for me.

"One more thing."

"Oh no, my heart can't take any more of this Niall." I said playfully.

"It's about that necklace."

"Yes?" I said my hand flying to the pendant resting on my chest.

"That heart, represents my own. You have my heart Kaycee. No matter what you'll have it. I've never felt like this before, I never had any girl make me feel like this. You keep me on my toes, you make me feel so alive. I was alone before you, didn't have anyone to spend my money on. I know you want to object to that, but I finally have found you. I've been waiting for you my whole life. Kaycee you are my princess, I finally found you, my princess."

"Niall, I-I.... That was beautiful. Your making me cry." I said wiping my tears.

"Well I'm glad there happy tears. I'd hate to see you actually cry."

"I don't think you ever could be the cause of my actual tears." I said smiling.

"Let's finish this lovely pizza so I can show you the ret of this surprise date."

"You don't have to tell me twice." I said picking up the pizza and biting into it.

When finished the pizza, we got up and I followed Niall who walked over to a sailor. This sailor looked really important, and his uniform nicer and different. He and Niall exchanged handshakes before the sailor turned to me.

I assumed he was the Captain, cause he was older than anyone else. His hair was grayer close to white in a way. He had wrinkles but not to many.

"Hello I'm Captain Jacobs, you must be Kaycee." He said sticking out his hand.

"Kaycee I am. That's me." I said nervously while shaking his hand.

"Well Kaycee I am," Captain Jacobs said mocking me and causing me to blush said. "How about driving the ship?"

"What?! No way!" I said with a huge smile on my face.

"Of course. Here, just stand in front of the big wheel and put your hands in the ten and two position." He instructed before moving over.

I took a deep breath glancing over at Niall who nodded at me encouragingly. Stepping towards the wheel and placing my hands on the ten and two positions, I took control of the boat. Niall walked around in front of me and the wheel taking out his phone and telling me to smile.

Giving him my best smile while focusing on the boat he took photos. He shoved his phone in his pocket and walked over behind me. Placing his hands over mine on the wheel we steered the ship together.

"Would like a photo?" Captain Jacobs asked.

"Yes please." Niall said while removing a hand to get his phone out. Handing the phone to Captain Jacobs, he walked over to where Niall once was. He snapped a couple of shots enforce returning the phone to Niall.

After a steering for a little while longer, we let Captain Jacobs take back over. Niall led me over to a table area surrounded by a station of sailors. It was holograph on the table and it was an outlay of the ocean we were on.

It showed the ocean and the obstacles in it. One of the sailors explained it to us and how it worked. He even showed us how to work his station. Walking over to the door that led to a outdoor deck.
