"The stairs creaked. A number of screams were heard. When she opened the door-"

"Stop. This story is too cliche." Jessica interrupted me, "Shayla, when telling stories you need them to NOT be mainstream, I swear you just told us a lowkey version of The Evil Dead". "She's right Shayla, anyway, what are we doing at 3:43am listening to you, tell us horrible horror stories" Vanessa added to Jessica's point. "Let's look at cute boys on tumblr" Jessica suggested, rolling my eyes at her I grabbed my phone. I swear, I either don't get notifications at all or I check my phone in a quick span of time. Vanessa snatched my phone off me, "Shayla, you need to stop looking at that phone and socialise with people FACE TO FACE.", I think to myself 'I know how to socialise but I just love myself'. While running I, once again, grabbed my phone off of Vanessa. I went downstairs to grab a glass of water as requested by Jessica. I wasn't bothered to turn on the lights but ironically my iPhone 6S phone screen lit up. As I stumbled through the halls of my house, I checked the notification.

"hey"

It was an unknown number, this must've of been a mistake.

"who is this"

I replied.

"Hayden Reed"

An unknown number.

And an unknown name.

"sorry you have the wrong number."

Something tugs on my arm. I drop the glass of water and my phone out of fright. I looked up and of course, I saw Jessica. As I went to bend down and pick up the pieces of glass, Jessica swats my hand and grabs my phone instead of helping me. This girl does not have any courtesy, I thought. "Ooooooo, who is 'Hayden Reed'" Jessica said in a detective-like voice. I sighed extremely loudly to show how annoyed I am at her. "I would tell you who Hayden is if you helped me" I said trying to hide the fact that I didn't know who it was. Jessica examined my phone like it was that doctor game that you play with tweezers. "Shayla, you need to get better at lying. If you knew who Hayden Reed was then why haven't you put his name in your contacts and you texted him 'you have the wrong number'" Jessica said in a 'I told you so' voice. I just continued picking up the pieces of glass. Jessica helps me as I dramatically moved about. "Oh Shayla, you need to learn how to lie and not drop things on the ground!" Jessica mocked me. I glared at her.

It was the middle of the night and we just were watching gossip girl the last few episodes of gossip girl. The whole time, I couldn't hope but wait for the next text from Hayden. It was obvious that he knew who I was. I stared at the walls trying to figure out who 'Hayden' might be... *Bing*
