"BAM!" Sixteen year old Aries Lee bumped into the most popular guy in school , Kris Harker. "Are you alright?" Kris said , helping Aries up. "I-I'm fine." Aries said as she stared into his eyes for what seem like eternity. "Can I have your name-" Kris started , cut off by the bell for homeroom. Kris took out a piece of paper from his pocket and scribbled down his number and name before handing it to the girl. "I gotta run! Here's my number , feel free to give me a ring if you'd like!" he said , rushing off to class. Aries' face was flushed red das she grasped the piece of paper tightly in her hands and watched as the boy ran off. She stared at the paper and mumbled and smiled to herself , "So his name is Kris.."
After school , Aries was on her way home from school as she saw a man from the corner of her eyes following her. She walked faster and entered the convenience store around the corner. The man did not enter the store but he waited a distance away , watching Aries. She was in panic and called one of the two contacts she had - Her Mom. "Quick! Pick up Mom!" she thought to herself , waiting for her Mom to answer the phone. She didn't answer the cell. She was panicking as she saw Kris' number in her contacts and called him hesitantly. "Hello? This is Kris. May I ask who you are?" Kris said as he answered the phone. "I-I'm Aries.. the one who bumped into you earlier today..." Aries stuttered. Kris cheeks flushed red as he was suprised she actually called. "U-uhm..So , what's up?" he said , nervous. "T-there's a creepy guy following me.. Hic..And..and I don't know what to do...I'm scared..Hic.." Aries said , tears rolling down her cheeks. Kris' heart skipped a beat , hearing Aries sniffing. "Don't cry! Where are you at? I'll be there right away!" he said. "I-I'm at the convenience store across the school.." she said , slightly relieved. "I'll be right there!" Kris said , running as fast as he could to where Aries was. As he entered the store , he saw Aries sobbing in a corner and went to hug her tightly. "It's alright now. I'm here Aries!" Kris said , kissing her forehead and caressing her face gently. Aries hugged him back tightly , sniffing a little. "Calm down , just relax and follow me." Kris said , holding her hand and walking out the convenience store. Aries just followed silently , her cheeks flushed as she stared at his hand , his fingers intertwined with hers. Upon seeing the two , the middle-aged man walked towards them and said to Kris in a relatively loud voice , "Who are you?! Why are you with my girl?" Kris stayed silent and she pulled Aries' face closer to his and kissed her gently , his lips brushing against hers. After seeing the two kiss , the man rushed off angrily. After the man had left , Kris pulled his face away from Aries' , only to see her crying. "I know you did it to scare him away but...but..t-that was my first kiss.." she said as tears rolled down her flushed cheeks. Kris was shocked upon hearing her say that and said , "I-I'm sorry..I didn't know..but I..I kissed you not just to scare him away..." Aries' eyes widened. "E-eh...? What do you mean...?" she said with a puzzled look on her face. Kris gathered up his courage and said , "I-I'm in love with you-!" His cheeks were flushed red as he turned away to avoid eye contact as he was embarrassed. "But..Why me..? You're the most popular guy in class and there are alot of other cute girls who like you..." she said , slightly shocked from the sudden confession. "I-I don't really understand either but.." He placed her hand on his chest and continued, blushing harder , "My heart only races like this when I'm with you.." Aries' cheeks were beet red at that moment. "Sorry..Can I have some time to think about this?" she said. Kris smiled gently and replied , "Of course." Kris then held her hand as he walked her back to her home. "We're here." Aries' said , as both of them stood outside a house. They said their goodbyes and parted. Aries watched Kris walking off from the window of her bedroom and smiled to her self , not realising that she too , was in love with him.
