"I miss daddy"

Bella's POV
I woke up and Myles was asleep while holding me against him. I turned over pecks his lips. "Good morning to you too" he said smiling. "I love you" I said giving him another kiss and him kissing back. "I love you too baby girl" he said rubbing my stomach. "And I love this little one too."

"Babe I love you but don't you have to go to the studio today?" I asked him. "Yeah at noon" "I'm going to go fix breakfast, I'll be downstairs" I said getting up and walking downstairs in my night gown.

"Mommy" Emma said standing by the table. "Yes baby girl?" I asked. "I'm hungry" "I know baby, do you wanna hep mommy cook?" I asked as she walked over to be. I picked her up and sit her on the counter. "What do you want? I'm fixing bacon, eggs, pancakes, and orange juice." "Can we have Mac and cheese?" She asked. I laughed, "no hunny, we can have that for dinner tho" I said kissing her forehead. We all ate breakfast and than Myles left.

Emma and I was sitting on the couch watch cartoons when someone knocked on the door. I got up and answered it. "Hey Dom! Hey Lauren!come on in" I said as they was walking in. "How have you all been?" I asked them. "Good, Jake's been busy but he's made time for us." Dom said. "Good, Kalin's always at the studio tho" "I know how you feel, Myles is always at the studio." I said. "How's our pregnant friend doing?" They asked. "Good, we go next week to find out the gender. I'm excited. We're hoping for a boy." I said. "Me too!" Emma said.

It was now 5 and I was wondering what time Myles was getting home, so I text him.

To the love of my life: hey babe, what time are you coming home?
From the love of my life: sorry baby, we're working on something and it's going to take a while. I'm not for sure

It was now 9 and no sign of Myles. "Are you ready to go to bed? I'll lay down with you" I asked Emma. We got in her bed. "Mommy" she asked. "Yes baby?" "How come daddy is never home?" She asked. "Well daddy has a job, when people have jobs they have to stay out late sometimes" I told her. "I miss daddy when he's not here." "I know baby girl. I do too"

Myles eventually came home around 12. I was in bed asleep until he pecked my lips and rolled over.

"Myles" I said. "Yes baby girl" "ever thought about having a day with your child?" I said not turning over. "Babe, what do you mean?" He said grabbing my waist and making me turn over. "Emma told me how she really feels" I said laying on head against his chest as he rapped me in his arms. "What did she say?" "She asked why your never home and that she misses you" I said starting to cry. "Myles, she loves you but your never home. How much do you think I like to see our daughter upset because your never home? How much do you think I like you not being here?" I said laying my head against his chest crying. "I'm sorry baby, I didn't realize. I'll do better, I promise" he said giving me a forehead kiss and rubbing my hair.
