Emergency Meeting

Its been two days since jenny died and my life has fallen apart. I can't go to college anymore because my parents are worried i may committee suicide. So now im stuck at home while all my friends are at college somewhere. The sound of my phone going off broke the silence. "Rose what is she doing calling me" i said worried something had happened.
"Hello" i said shacking like crazy. "Hey can you come over me, you and Lena need to talk" she said sounding ok. "O.....ok" i said calming down just a little. We hung up and grabbed my house key. I wrote a note telling where i was going so they dont get worried.

I turned around and locked the door. I got into my car and drove to Rose's place, she lives by herself. As i entered the drives i noticed Lena's car was here. "What's she doing here i thought she was already at college" i said turning off my car and getting out.

The two of them were waiting for me at the front door. "We need to talk" Rose said opening the door for me and Lena. We entered the house and sat on the sofa. "What is it" Lena said gripping my hand worried. "We are going to be detectives" Rose said giving me and Lena some papers. "Yeah we can find my sister and Jenny's murderer" i said feeling my heart ripping apart at the mention of their names.

After filling out the paperwork me and Lena gave it to Rose to turn in. "Well i have to get back mom and dad will be worried" i said gathering my things. "Love ya" both of them said as Lena gathered her things. "Love ya" i said running out to my car. As I got into my car i noticed i forgot my phone in the house so i went to get it.

As i made my way to the door i could hear Rose's voice. "Lena she wouldn't last a day" she said as i entered the house. I could fell years fall down my face. "Skyler" she said sounding surprised. "Wouldn't last a day huh" i said swigging the door open. "I'll show you" i said storming out the door Lena chasing after me. "Skyler wait" she grabbing my wrist. "What, you going to tell me the same thing" i said pulling away. "Just to let you know i think you would make a great detective" she said smiling. I could feel my tears slowly fade away as a smile grew on my face. Me and Lena got into our cars and drove off. We never saw Rose again.
