"Don't forget. No parties while we're away. Got it?"

"Yeah."

Hunter spun around, passing me on the way to his room.

"Rion. Make sure he doesn't throw any parties this week. We don't want him getting in trouble again. Like last time."

I nod.

"No problem, I don't want to clean up another one of his parties anyway."

She places her hand on my cheek.

"Thank you darling. I don't know what we would do without a maid like you."

And with those words, Hunter's parents embark on their business trip to California.

"They're gone?"

"Yeah. Why?"

He pulls his phone out of his pocket, dialing someone's number.

"Kody? Party at my house in an hour. Spread the word."

He hangs up. I look at him.

"Hunter, you're parents said no parties."

He shoots a glare in my direction.

"Do you really think I care what my parents say or what they want me to do?"

"Not particularly."

"Exactly. Why don't you just go back to your maid job and clean for the party."

He turns, evacuating the room. I sigh and get to work.

I can't just disobey an order from my boss's son. I'll get fired for it.
