"Lonesome Party"
Painting by Caroline Walker
By Miranda Rmz.

She sits alone,  unclothed.
She stares into blank space.
All she could do was...
Be by herself.

Her head back against,
The cushion of the bed,
As she lay in her white
Underwear and camisole.

She sat on the carpet,
Wearing her cheetah print
Socks and her only party
Hat on.

Clothes thrown at her side,
A clothes hanger, now empty
From the birthday outfit she
Threw off.

She would have her own
Birthday party in her room.

Forget going to show
Her face in the kitchen.
None of her party guests
Had shown up.

She sighs. She decides to
Have a party in her room.
All by herself. A lonesome party.

Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday.
Wearing my red and green party hat.
Wearing my party socks, and wearing
A sad face.

Her black statue of a solid giraffe,
Stands at the back of her room in
The corner near her dressers.  It
Reminds her of her last years
Birthday party.

Happy Birthday. Lonesome party.

Yeah,  this poem pretty much sucks. I don't like it, but whatever. This should be the end of all my poems and every work done in my Creative Writing class. I will be uploading the daily journal from class that we had to write.

Heres the link to the photo which i had to write this poem off of. Link was to long so.... and the original painting is called "The Party Animal" by Caroline Walker.
