The moment I reached home, I got a phone call. The caller I.D was missing, and it said PRIVATE CALLER. Reluctantly, I picked it up.

"Hello?" I hesitated.

"Hi there! I'm here to talk to you about a new alarm system." The way the girl said it was like she was asking me a question.

"Um... Not really, no. I mean, I'm not interested in a new alarm system." I said.

"Well, we're giving free trials, and we're right outside your house, so maybe we could check it out?" She asked.

I thought about it. It was a free trial right? "Uh, okay sure, but how long will it take?" I asked.

"Oh, just a couple of minutes to install it, don't you worry." She replied.

"Oh... Well, okay then." I said.

I opened the door, and sure enough there was a woman standing outside in a suit, smiling. "Hi there, my name is Lucy and I'm the head of the new alarm system company. So lets get started, where should we install it for you? Is here good enough for you?"

She spoke with no breaks for me to answer. "Uh, alright, yeah there is fine. Um, just wait a minute, I'm going to be right back." I said.

I went to my room and grabbed my phone. When I came back, the lady was gone. All that was left was a note with the same handwriting. How could she have gone so fast?!I had no idea what was going on but I knew I had to show this to Jessica, but obviously she wouldn't believe me. Now this serial note person knew where my house was, and how it looked. I wondered how she knew where my house was. That was when I knew this was getting serious. I grabbed my sweater, slipped on my shoes and ran to my bike. I then biked to the pole where I had met her. Shoot. I didn't know anything about her. I made a mental note to ask her about it and take down her phone number when I met her again. I picked up my phone and dialed my brother's phone number. Please pick up. Please pick up.

"Hello?" My brother answered.

"Thank god you picked up the phone!" I said.

"What. Do you want." He stated it rather than asking it as a question.

"I'm gonna get to the point, I need Brittney's number." I sighed. It wasn't going to work.

There was about a ten second pause until he spoke. "Is this a joke? Why would I give you Brittney's number?"

"Well, I need to talk to her cousin, please. Its an emergency!"

"That you're associated with? I don't believe it."

"Please. Trust me, this once. I'll do anything for you."

Another ten second pause. "Fine. I'll decide what you have to do for me later. Here's her number. 390. 432. 7890."

"Thank you so much. I owe you one." I put down the phone and dialed Brittney's number. Please pick up. Please pick up.

To my luck, Brittney picked up the phone. "Hello, wait, hold on a sec."

As I held on a "sec," I could Brittney yelling to her friends. She came back on. "Uhhh yeah?" She asked.

"Um, I'm Jessica's friend. I need her number please."

"Are you Jessica's friend or her boyfriend?"

"I'm assuring you that I'm her friend. Can you please give me her number?"

"Fine. 932. 457. 1209. And don't you dare hang up the phone until you tell me why you're calling her." She said.

"I'm her friend she met when she crashed into a pole on the street. I need to go. Thank you, bye." I hung up, and quickly dialed Jessica's number.

"Uhhh, hello?" It was Jessica's voice alright.

"Jessica! This is Leo. I really--"

"OMG Leo, I really need to talk to you. The note. Everything. I need to talk to you about it."

" I do too. I got another note. I need to meet up with you."

"I'm gonna leave the house in ten, I'll meet you in Starbucks on Sixth Street." She sounded so scared.

"Great. Stay strong, and see you there."
