My eyes flutter open and the room is almost completely dark. I don't feel the usual warmth of Robin's hands around my waist. I move my hand and feel the cold sheets instead of his warm body. I am completely cold under the huge comforter without his warm embrace.

I roll over and glance at the clock on his nightstand. It's eleven o'clock. Why would he let me sleep late? I push back the comforter and walk into the bathroom. I quickly get dressed and exit fifteen minutes later.

I enter the hallway and don't exactly recall how to get to the kitchen. I aimlessly walk around the hallways in search of the rather large kitchen. I turn a corner and of course I bump into someone and fall on my ass.

"Sorry Regina. I thought you were still asleep." He says as he graciously holds out a hand to assist me and I gladly take.

"Yeah it's okay. I just woke up and am in need of coffee. I was on my way to the kitchen."

"You're going the wrong way."

"It's not my fault you're house is a maze. I'm surprised that there aren't any secret passageways or hidden rooms."

"Who said there weren't any?" Robin says with a playful smirk and I laugh at him. He takes my hand and starts leading me to what I assume is the kitchen.

"Where's Roland?" I ask as we finally enter the kitchen.

"John likes to take him on Saturdays. I'm sorry to disappoint you but it's only me today." Robin says and then he goes behind the kitchen counter. "What do you want for breakfast milady?"

"I'm not really a breakfast person. I usually just drink coffee."

"Brunch?" Robin says as he makes an adorable pleading face.

"Waffles." I plainly say with a smile.

He sends me a warm smile before he starts cooking. I know it's going to take him a while to make my brunch so I roam the halls. I find the living room and I make myself at home. My butt is comfortably on the sofa, bare feet on the coffee table and remote in hand.

I flip through the channels and find a comedy show. Half of the jokes are very corny but it's funny to watch people make a fool of themselves on television. I've been watching this show for almost fifteen minutes. The comedian finally says something funny and I roar with laughter.

"You have an adorable laugh." Robin says as he walks in the room with my brunch.

"Thank you." I say as he hands me the plate. He sits right next to me with an arm wrapped around my waist.

"It's the least I can do. You're such an amazingly kind person and I should at least make you brunch."

"Thanks babe." I say as I start eating.

"Your welcome baby." He responds as he places a kiss on my cheek that is already stained with syrup. "That was sweet but your lips are sweeter." Robin says with a smile.

"Are you suggesting something?" I say as I take another bite of the huge waffle.

"If you finish eating then maybe I can show you." He says with a smile and I lean into his side.
