TICK-TOCK-TICK-TOCK!!! Ugh. When will the bell ring? Mrs. Gopingham was rambling on about how you divide this and divide that and multiply this and multiply that and blah blah blah blah blah!!
"ANALAYA!!! ANSWER WHAT IS THE ANSWER WHEN YOU DIVIDE x BY 65?!?!" She glared and me with these evil-eyes, like lasers that made me shiver. Axle leans over and whisper the answer in my ear. I was about to say it aloud when she screeches,
" MR. TOMPSON!!! DO NOT GIVE HER THE ANSWER!!! DETENTION BOTH OF YOU FOR A MONTH!!!" Her voice was like nails on a chalk board. I look over at Axle and we both role our eyes as the bell rung.

" How was your day?" Mom asked as soon as I got in the door. It was awful like always. Detention again for a month. "Fine," I murmur. I sit down in the barstool and the kitchen counter. Mom slides a plate in front of me. She had made her famous Spicy Tune Sushi Balls that I loved. The smell was delicious. I was just about to ask for it when mom slides the hot-sauce to me. Yum! " Your late." Mom says with a serious face. I look down at my plate. Silent. "Detention for a month?" She asks knowingly. Ding-Ding-Ding!!!

After I've don't the dishes and took a shower, I head to bed. I'm lying there looking out the window, when mom walks in. " Look, I know it's hard lately with dad in California and it just being us in the house, but don't let that get in the way of your schoolwork. You only have one more year before college and that may be the best thing for you and us and your sister." Sister...where was she!!! "Mom!!! Since I had detention, I couldn't pick her up from Kindergarten!!! Did you get her!?!?" Mom looks at me with worried eyes and the jumps up, grabs the keys and tosses them to me. " What?!? Why me?!" She looked at me with eyes saying, go get your sister!! I looked at the clock; 5:00. Good, they only started loading buses and going to car riders 30mins ago. She will be in the front office. For once, I thankful for this stupid private academy school. They usually get out at three in regular school, but for once I'm thankful they get out late.
