I woke up to the smell of dirt. Why the hell does it smell like.... Oh wait, that's right, I died. Ughhh I opened my eyes to find I was snuggled into the chest of the boy who tried to save me. I really have to learn his name I can't just keep calling him 'the boy who tried to save me'. I got up, dusted my clothes off and stretched. The boy was still sleeping. He curled himself up into a ball against the dirt. AWWWWW HE LOOKS LIKE A WITTLE PUPPY!
"Who looks like a puppy..." The boy mumbled
"NO ONE!" The I ran and hid behind a rock.
"I totally see you behind that rock."
"what are you talking about there is no rock..." I said while covering the rock with my body.
He got up and dusted his butt off while coming over to me.
"Hey I just wanted to tell you that I wanted to save you. I hoped while he was killing me you would run to safety." He said softly
"I just feel bad..." I said looking down
"Don't feel bad we're both dead anyway" he looked at me with a lopsided grin. I couldn't help but grin back.
"We should start moving now... Maybe we can find some food on the way." I said walking forward
"Yea sure its going to take a while to get to the Bone Yard." We walked in silence for a while till he broke it.
"Can you answer some questions?"
"Okay shoot" I said with a smile
"What's your name?"
"Bree White. What's yours?"
"Cole Huntsman. What's your favorite color?" Wow his name is even sexy.
"Green" I replied
"Mines red."
"OHHHHHH IT'S LIKE CHRISTMAS!" I squeal
"Well then... That outburst totally ruined the moment..."
"What moment?" I questioned
"Our, ya know bonding moment." He said sheepishly
"I wouldn't call that bonding ... But what ever floats your boat."
