I feel them. They crawl up my body creating a tingling feeling that makes the hairs on my body stand. The cold furry legs brush against me as they slowly creep closer to my face. My throat becomes tight, I start to have a hard time with breathing. I can't swallow, because my throat is closing. The fear causing me to lose control of my body, I become completely paralyzed as these disgusting creatures crawl over me.
Spiders. The thing I fear most. The room im trapped in is full of them and other insects. The damp, mouldy  walls are covered in them and whatever god awful filth.
I can feel the spiders on my shoulders, at this point I've lost all hope of trying to breath because it has proven to be impossible. I try to squeeze my eyes tighter and pray that this torture ends soon. Either by death or any other possible way.
Minutes pass and the feeling of small legs becomes less and less evident. The grotesque smells of rotting filth and death start to lessen as well. I regain the ability to move, slowly I wiggle my fingers, then the rest of my limbs taking a single step. I have yet to open my eyes, as I'm terrified of what may lay before me. I know I will have to, but the mere thought makes me cringe.
I try to gain as much  courage as I can before slowly letting my eyes relax and then open. The sight before me is nothing like I thought it would be. I had imagined a graveyard of dead insects, or worse, more live ones in an attack stance. A spider the size of a man maybe. But no. None of my thoughts could've prepared me for what was just in front of my eyes.
It was a small garden of dead, leafless trees, dead grass and flowers. A small discoloured wooden bench sat beside a dried out pound where the rocks surrounding it were covered in a thing layer of old algae. One tree in particular caught my attention. From its lifeless branch hung a swing made from a single piece of wood and some rope. The typical make do swing you would have made for a child.
Something about the way it swayed in the wind made me drawn to it. It gave this feeling of loneliness that made me want to go to it.
Stepping closer and closer to it only caused me to feel  sad and angry. I had no reason to be this way. But as I touched the rope of the swing, tears filled my eyes and I couldn't hold them back.
I wipe the stray tears off my face and walk away further into the garden. Though it is very small there is still much to explore here. Patches or dead roses and flowers or all sorts scattered across the brown grass.
A big stump stood out so I walked towards it. I could faintly see that someone had once tried to carve something into it. As I got closer I realized it was initials of two people.
K. S+ M. T forever
I ran my finger over the bumpy surface.
The face of a crying girl flashed before my eyes and then screams of horror and cries of agony filled my ears till the ached. I winced at the pain from the loud noise and covered my ears, but the sound only intensified. I began to cry out in hopes that maybe somehow that would help. Unable to hold myself up, I fall hard to the ground and curl in a ball. This can't get any worse. I have done nothing to deserve this type of torture but I suffer anyway.
In a matter of a few seconds, all the sounds and pain vanishes and I'm left with my heavy breathing and weeps of terror to fill the empty space around me. I stay like this for what feels like hours until I finally get up. When I do I'm in my room. The sun trying to peer in from behind my black curtains.
Morning is here and the torture is put on pause until the next time I close my eyes and let the wonders of sleep take over my body.
