Chapter 4

"What are you smiling at?" Katie looks over my shoulder.

"Nothing..." I say so fast that obviously i'm caught...

"Spill it!"

"Fine...so I met this boy..."

"Who is this guy??" Katie shouted.

"Don't be so loud! And no one. He's just a friend. A very handsome friend that has a girlfriend. You know Hannah Slay? She's his girlfriend." 

"A friend? I see. Anyway, he gave you his number? for what exactly?"

"He gave it to me, actually he got my number somewhere...anyhow, where's Will? You know...I always wanted for you guys to get married! My best friend and my other best friend...SO CUTE" I tried changing the subject. Something about talking about a taken boy doesn't seem right to me...

"NO, that won't happen!! Over my dead body! Have you seen his nostrils? They are gigantic!"

I laughed at that. "Drama queen."

Okay. So let me explain. Katie, Will and I are neighbors since ever. I met Will somewhere in life and we've been friends since then. I married him like 20 times! Okay, that sounded wrong...not our faults though! Our big sisters liked to have fun...let's just say that we pretty much did everything together. And then Katie came along and the 'ew boys' phase started so we just started to hang out less and we drift a little away. Obviously, when we grew older Katie and I started to hang out with him again and we just became the bestest trio. She developed a crush on him but never said anything and I hope that one day they get married and have little Katies and Wills!! I promise I'll ask for a divorce! Okay, Bella, that wasn't funny at all...

"What about your day, Miss Katie? How was hanging out with Will?" 

"Ugh...you and Will again..." I laughed "It was fun but at the same time........"

We kept on talking the whole night.

"The end of year 10. What a relief! Now on to summer vacations and doing nothing"

"Bella..come on...it's summer vacation. What are you doing here in your room when we can go to the beach?" Katie asked while Will was laying on my bed.

"Well, I plan on laying down, watch movies and eat. I don't like the beach and you know it..."

"You're going to be white as milk at the end of the holidays...please come!!"

"Nope. You guys can go."

"I'm not going if she's not coming," Will said. "Why does this happen every year?"

"We are her only friends remember..."I tell Will. Katie slaps me in the shoulder. "Ouch!! What was that for?"

"For saying that I had no friends."

"Still not going. Not going. Not going...." Will and I started to sing.

"Fine. I surrender. Now give me your phone so I can have some fun." Katie said to me.

"Hey, girls, no noise. I'm going to take a nap."

"Will, when don't you sleep?" I asked.

"When I eat." I rolled my eyes. I swear this kid has some sleeping problems.

"Katie! What are you doing?" I whispered.

"Just texting your handsome man Ben!"

"Hey give me that!" I tried snitching my phone from her hands.

"Noooo" She protested." I am just about to receive a text saying if he wants to have lunch with me aka you sometime!"

"WHAT? Are you crazy? I can't have lunch with him!"

"He said that he misses you and that he would love to!!!!"

"Wait WHAT?!?! You're lying!! Let me see let me see!!!" I screamed! He said yes? Calm down. It's probably with other people. Breath.

"I only agree if other people go."

"But it would be so cute if you and hi...."

"Katie!!"

"Okay. Fine."She frowned. "I asked who should I, sorry, you invite to go"

<Ben>

-I don't know...you choose

<Bella>

-That's not fair. You know more people!

<Ben>

-Says the pretty girl with a lot of friends.

I blushed.

<Bella>

-Well but...Shotgun you pick

<Ben>

-Fine. Look I really have to go...Talk to you later! xx

<Bella>

-Bye xx

"See! It's not that bad..." Katie looked at me with a smirk.

"I'm going to kill you!! Don't make me have high hopes! He's still dating Hannah and I really like being friends with her!"

"Don't worry! I won't do it again..."

Soooo...School starts tomorrow! 11th grade...who would've thought that I would get so far? Not me ahah 

So let me tell you what happened this summer. Most of it I spent it with my two best friends doing nothing, going to the beach, pool, watching movies, some parties from people at school, the usual stuff. My family, Katie and I went to Paris for a week and Will went to Rome with his family just a day before we got back, so we didn't see him for two weeks. It was a lot of fun. And now it's September 5th and hell opens again tomorrow. Just being a little dramatic!

Wait my phone is ringing! Where is it? Phone phone phone come here phony phony...Got it!

"Hello?"

"Hey, Bella! It's Maya! This is my new phone number! I ruined my phone during summer. I guess water and phones don't go very well..anyway...I've got some news for you!! So guess what!"

"What?"

"Hannah and Ben broke up..!"
