Meet Kori, the Half Demon Fox

Two women from the village nearby a were walking alone from a long day of gathering herbs in the woods, when a lizard demon, hidden in one of the trees above them made a loud shrieking sound, and jumped on top of one of them. The woman underneath the demon screamed in fear, "Help me!"

The demon smirked, "Yummy.~ A young woman. They taste better than the old women that passes by here!"

He lines down and and licked the girl's cheek as the other girl tries to find a way to help.

She looks around and finds a rock to hit it with, "Let her go you damn demon!" She lifted rock above her head and slammed it down on it's head. The demon hissed in pain after the rock dropped on his head, "You wretched woman! i'll eat you after I finish your friend!"

The demon wrapped its tail around the woman, picked her up and tossed her towards a nearby tree. The girl closed her eyes tightly and prepared her body to hit the tree...but the impact was softer than she expected.

"It's rude to just toss a lady like that, Lizard." The woman looked up to see a masked face instead of a bloody tree, holding her body effortlessly in her arms. The masked person looked down with pale blue eyes, "Are you alright? He didn't harm you, did he?" The masked hero carefully placed the woman in her arms down on the ground, then turned back to the demon with a battle pose ready "Let the human women go."

The lizard looked back at the masked saviour. The saviour was dressed in a white ninja outfit with a mask over its face. He chuckled, "What can you do to me? I am stronger than you, you weak human!" The saviour whispered to the woman, "Whatever happens, stay down. I will save your friend." The woman nodded and watched as the ninja walked towards the demon, still battle ready, with her hand on her sword. then she spoke with power and anger in her voice, "Let her go and I may spare you."

The lizard grabbed his prey by the neck with his big demon hand gripping tightly, and turned to the saviour hissing, "How dare you speak to me like that! Who do you think you are human?!" The ninja grabbed the handle of its sword, "Human? I am no human."

The wind blew strongly as the ninja got ready to attack, "I'm neither human nor demon...I am your end." With that, the saviour struck the demon with a lighting speed sword slash, slicing through him like a sharp blade through paper, stopping a few feet away from the back of the demon, sheathing its sword with the same speed as the attack the saviour gave. The demon hissed and screamed in pain. "N-no! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!!!!" The demon's severed halves, turned into dust. The woman landed on the ground and choked while rubbing her neck, "I...I thought that was my end..." she said while gasping for air, The other woman ran to her, "Ai! Are you okay?" The woman name Ai nodded, "I am fine Heiwa...That person saved me..."

The masked saviour walked towards the women and held out its hand to the woman gasping on the ground, "Good thing I heard your screams, or i wouldn't have been able to find you and he would have ate you both." Ai took the saviour's hand and was helped up, "Thank you. You saved me, Ninja." The saviour nodded, "I couldn't pass two humans in danger. Besides, he was annoying. Acting all high just because he had a human on her back, helpless. He was just as weak as a bug." Heiwa walked to the ninja dressed saviour, "You act like he was nothing to you...are you not human?"

The saviour turned its head away, "I am neither...I am between...I am a half demon."

The half demon saviour bowed, "I must take my leave, now that you are safe."As she turned to leave, Ai gasped and grabbed the saviour's hand, "W...Wait! Please!" Ai gasped, 'Her hands are cold as ice..." The pale blue eyed half demon turned to her, "Yes?" Ai gulped, "C-could you escort us to our village? Another demon may make a tempt to kill us like the one you had slain!" The demon sighed and looked up at the sun, which was to the east, "It is getting late...very well. I will travel with you to your village." Ai smiled big and looked back at her campaign, "You hear that, Heiwa?! We have an escort! I feel like a princess!" Heiwa rolled her eyes, "Says the one that was attacked and saved." Ai puffed up her cheeks, "He saved you too!" The demon blinked, "U-um...I'm a woman." Both girls looked back at her in shock, "WHAT?!"

On the way to the village, The half demon walked behind them, taking rear security. Heiwa and Ai stayed in front. Ai looked back at The half demon, "So, she's a half demon...but she's too powerful to be one. How did she do that?" Heiwa shrugged, "Don't know. I never seen a demon that fast..." Ai sighed, "She reminds me of the demon that passed by looking for that monk." Heiwa giggles, "He asked me to bare his children! He was a funny one!" Ai gave her a weird look, "I don't think he was being funny..." Both look back at the Half demon, who watched the woods closely. Ai smiled, "She's like big brother was..." Heiwa nodded, "Beside being a half demon...she acts just like him." The demon sighed and rubbed her neck, 'Damn...I'm tired. I hate being half demon. I have much to work on.'

Soon, they reached the village. everyone started at the demon. Ai looked back and seen her hero have a strate look, "Guess she has to deal with humans looking down on her and fear her. I can't blame them...but I know she means no harm!" Ai said, feeling sorry for her new friend.

Ai and Heiwa lead their new friend to their home. Ai ran to the doors of the walls and ran in, "Father! Father! we are home! Wait till you hear our story!" Heiwa and the half demon walked in as an elder man walked out.

"Heiwa! Ai!" The woman's father said hugging them tight, "Thank the gods you two are alright!" Turns out, the demon had saved the chief's twin daughters. The demon watched as the chief looked up, "Demon, pure white as snow, I can't thank you for what you have done for me and my dear children. Please tell me your name." she bowed, "Kori. Daughter of the lord of the North, Kenja the Arctic fox demon."

"WHAT?! What is a powerful demon's daughter doing here?!" Kori shrugged, "I'm just looking for someone." The chief stared at the demon.

Her hair was white as snow, her eyes pale blue, Her skin just as pale, on top her head, two ears twitch to every sound that was heard, her claws sharp and ready for a attack, her outfit was all white, her feet was bare besides the cloth between her tow, her twin katana's rest on her back, ready to cut down anything that attacks their master.

The chief nodded, "Well lady Kori, if there is anyway I could repay you..." Kori nodded, "There is. I am looking for someone. But I would like to rest for the night." Ai Smiled and pulled on her father's arm, "Father! Let her stay here! We owe her our lives father!" Heiwa pull her father's other arm, "Please father! Kori saved my and Ai from a demon!" The poor old man sighed and nodded. Both girls jumped for joy, "Thank you father!" Kori chuckled and thought to herself, "They're just like me, I can see my father now. shaking his head saying stuff like, I know your pain." Both girls grabbed Kori's hand, and dragged her into their home.

For the past 3 days, a white fox demon has been traveling, looking for a demon slayer by the name of Sango. No one can understand why she was looking for a demon slayer, but it was grateful for the food, shelter, and hospitality each village gave her as she passed by.

She didn't really get into fights like she did today. She would stop and rest regularly if she did, offering help to anyone with odd jobs needing some kind of body guarding service, and then, as payment, she'd ask for any info on the demon slayer Sango and her party. Afterwards, she'd leave the village when she got any info. If any demons attacked her as she traveled, she would effortlessly cut them down, and keep traveling.
