I was sitting in my room strumming random strings on my guitar thinking of new lyrics for a song. "I’m like that boom box outside of your window I’m that Delorean blowing past 88 And where we’re going girl, Won’t be needing roads cause,Oo oo oo oo This ain’t no 50 first dates. " I stopped singing when Rocky and Ross busted through my door laughing. “Can I help you?" I said, my voice in a slightly annoyed tone. “Oh Sorry Riker." Ross said with a small smile. “We are going to go to a music store and get Ratliff a new drum set for his birthday. You wanna go?" Rocky said with a grin. “I guess so. I was kind of in the middle of writing a song though.." I ansered with a soft sigh not wanting to disappoint my brothers. Rocky rolled his eyes playfully, ”You can finish when we get back." He pulled me off of my bed. ”Now come on!" Ross fake whined then ran downstairs with Rocky following. I slowly followed them. When I got outside I saw Ross in the driver’s seat and Rocky beside him. “No,Ross I am not sitting in the back dude." I said glaring. “Okay. Fine." He got out of the car and sat in the back seat as I took his place. As we were on our way there Rocky and Ross were singing a McFly song very loudly and completely off key on purpose as if they were trying to annoy me. Normally I would be singing with them,but I just wasn’t in the mood today, When we pulled up Rocky opened his door and jumped out of the car meeting Ross who had already gotten out at the front door. “Hurry up Riker!" Rocky shouted. I got out of the car and locked the door then walked to them. They were acting like 13 year olds, like they need their 21 year old brother to go somewhere, Ross is 17 and Rocky is 18. They don’t need me to be here. I feel like there is a catch to this…Like they have a plan I don’t know about, Ross and Rocky ran in the music store as I followed. My eyes lit up and I stopped as soon as I saw a blonde girl in a short purple dress,white heels,and her hair down standing right in front of me. I know those hazel eyes anywhere. It was Dianna. Dianna Agron. The girl who broke my heart when was 17. The girl that I yelled at my parents for having me to late for. I couldn’t believe she was right in front of me. I smiled my cute smile, “H-Hi Dianna." I said with a stutter, “Riker. Long time,no see." She said returning the smile and hugging me. I couldn’t help but hug back. She pulled back from the hug and bit her light pink glossy lip. “I have to ask you something." “Okay,shoot." I replied to her. “Remember when you asked me out a long time ago…..?" Her voice drifted off. Of course I remember! I mean she broke my heart! But I wasn’t going to say that, Did she know I have been thinking about her ever since I asked her out? Did she know I wished that every night she would come back for me? Did she know that I had been waiting my entire life for her to tell me she loves me? “Stop exaggerating Riker!" I said to myself in my head. I nodded my head to her. “Well I uh, I wanted to ask you if you still felt that way about me…" She said in a quiet voice. My eyes widened and I tried to answer her but no words came out. My voice finally made a sound, “Yes" She smiled and looked like she was about to cry. “I’m glad…because I wanted to tell you…I only said no because of our ages..but now,we can be together. If you want that anyway." I suddenly felt like every worry in my world was gone. She was,is all I ever wanted.. “Of course I want that!" I said with a wide smile, “You’re perfect!" I pulled her into a tight hug and looked at Rocky and Ross over her shoulder just in time to see them fist pump then realize that I was looking at them. They both ran off towards the drums. I rolled my eyes fondly and smiled brightly as I felt her hug back.
