Cameron's POV

It's been over 7 hours and I haven't seen Ashley come back home. Was I really that hard on her? Wow maybe I was like our dad, hitting, yelling, making people cry. Damn I'm such a fuck up.

I called Ashley about 15 times with no answer. I really fucked up this time with her. I got a bottle of beer and started drinking.

~30 minutes later~

Ashley finally came home smelling like weed.

"Where the fuck have you been?" I asked getting up in her face pushing her back to the wall.

"Cam, you smell like alcohol get off me." She tried pushing me but it didn't work.

"You know you could've been dead, like Nate for all I know. So where were you, and don't lie to me like last time."

"I was with Sammy, no big deal. Now I'm gonna go to bed so if you would get off of me that'll be great." I got off of her. Then she turned around.

"You know I really thought you were the greatest brother I ever had, but I guess after 17 years with you that all changes. You start acting like a dick, hitting me, and just being like dad."

ASHLEY'S POV

"... and just being like dad." I realized what I just said, than I ran as fast as I could to my room and locked the door.

"You're gonna have to come out sooner or later, and I'm gonna be right here when you do." Cam said trying to get the door to open. I ignored him and changed into my pajamas.

"Nate I really wish you were here right now, I miss you." I whispered as if he could hear me. Than I went to sleep.

~Next morning ~

I woke up about 6:50 for school, and really hoped that Cam wasn't out there, luckily he wasn't. I went downstairs and grabbed something to eat, then went to get ready.

It was about 7:30 so I decided to leave for school. I was heading out of the door until I heard Cam's voice.

"Where do you think you're going missy?" He asked.

"School, unlike you I actually care about it."

"Care about it? You actually care about school? Last time I checked you were failing every class."

"Well it's better then staying here and getting treated like this." I yanked out of his grip and went into my car.

"Nate, I really wish you were here, I need you right now. I promise I'll find out who did this to you." I kept "talking to him" the whole ride to school.

"Well I have to go to hell, so I'll talk to you later Nate." I then got out of my car and went in the school.

Finally, it was lunch. I usually eat with other people, but today I sat alone trying to figure out what to do about Nate and this Cameron thing.

So the ballistics matched the bullets found in Nate's drawer for the SIG, but he never had a SIG. This doesn't make any sense. I thought to myself.

"He's been set up!" I then stood up and walked out of the lunch room into the hall and called Cam.

"What do you want?" He hissed.

"Did you check the the magazines in Nate's bottom drawer for fingerprints?"

"No, but why?"

"I'm thinking Nate had been set up. I'm leaving school now, I'll meet you at Nate's house."

I walked out and started my truck, rushing to Nate's house.
