Ugh.

I wish I could stay in this bed forever. My alarm clock is ringing, telling me to get up but i don't think i can make myself face another day. It's been like this since the day my best freind Alisha disapeared. We used to be the most popular girls at Grover High, but since that day, i became a nobody at school.

I take a deep breath. "You can do this Ariel" I told myself.

I slowly get up and yawn, takeing in the damp morning airs scent, i hop out of bed and get ready to face the day.

A note is posted on the kitchen door "Ariel- I left for work early and I'm coming home late, --Dad"

Double Ugh.

My dad always works from 6:00 in the morning till midnight.

I saunter around the kitchen and pull out a box of cheerios. I pour it into a bowl and empty out the rest of the little milk that is left in the bottle. I need to remind dad to get more.

Suddenly the doorbell rings. Huh? Who would come to my house at 7:00 in the morning? It seems kind of strange...

I open our creaky wooden door only a crack. Peering out, i see a man with a hoodie and baggy sweat pants. Weird. It is 70 degrees out today, why would he be dressed so warmly?

I curiously open the door a little further to see why this man was here. He had no items with him so he probably wouldn't be selling anything, unless he had something stuffed into the pocket of his hoodie where he had his hands in.

"Ariel." he said.

"How do you know my name?"

He ignored my question and continued talking. "Ariel, I can't talk now. Meet me at the corner store tomorrow night"

"What why?" i ask demandingly.

He looked around then whispered "I know where Alisha is"

WHAT? My jaw dropped all the way open. "TELL ME!" i demand. "I really really REALLY NEED TO KNOW!" Could it be true? Did he really know where she is? Could she still be alive? Would i get to see her again?!

"Shhhh! I'll tell you later. Just meet me at the corner store"

"Wait, how do i know your'e telling the truth?" I question.

But he had left by then.

Whatever had just happened, i definetly was excited, yet kind of scared about tommorow night.
