The boy had curly hair that swept across his forehead.
He wore nerdy shirts and skinny jeans.
He had glasses and was rarely without a beanie.
He was reading a book today, To Kill A Mockingbird.
I loved that book.
Yet I still couldn't get his attention.
So one day I passed him a note.
"What's your name"
I waited
He looked at the note then over to my smiling face
He giggled
He freaking giggled
He handed me a note back
"I'm Alecs and you?"
My smile got wider
"Jace, nice to meet you"
I placed it on his book
"Same :)"
"What are you listening to?"
He looked a bit sad at that note
"I cant tell you :p"
I pouted
"Whyyyy nooooottttt"
He raised a eyebrow before standing up
"Bye."
Was what he left on the note
