I started running slowly. I looked up to the sky The sun was setting quickly and I had to figure things out.
One. I'm nowhere near ohio
Two. I'm no longer in my world
Three. I'm in a world where my favorite vampires live.

Okay, okay this isn't so bad I guess. My heart was pounding As the sky grew completely dark. Snow started to fall and the window turned bitter. I shivered and pulled my thin jacket closer around me. It was then that I had a feeling that I was being watched. I started running faster that's when I heard the footfalls behind me. I took off in a dead flat out sprint. I saw a light not to far a strange orange light that became a smoldering flame as I approached. I felt something glaze on my shirt. I had no choice I was going to fast to stop running. I heard a door open and several gasps but I didn't care. It was now or never. I bunched all my muscles up then hurled myself over the flame that was just inches from burning me.
I heard a thud and hissing and many other sounds as well. The world blurred by me then next thing I knew I was landing hard on the ground. There a sickening crack snap sort of sound and the world went dark.
