Prologue

    I guess I wasn't prepared for what was coming. I didn't think it would ever happen. My own sister betrayed me. Yeah, I guess I kinda knew it was gonna happen one day with Clary, bu I never thought it would happen so soon. She has Jace and the rest of the Shadowhunters rapped around her finger. My twin sister! No one knows me, no one knows who I am because of her. And I promise I will save the world from Valentine and Clary Fray. I may be forgotten, but with my elite team's help we can save the shadow world and human kind. I will not say my name yet, but once I do everyone will remember me.But for now I am The Forgotten.

     It all started 18 years ago when Jocelyn Fairchild fell in love with The Circle's Leader. He was called the devil in desguise. One night they were making love and Jocelyn ended up being prefnant with twins. Clary and then, well me.My mom didn't want two children. Only one so she gave me up. Clary new about me. She hated that she wasn't an only child but ws happy that her mother had given me up. Clary knew who her father was, but wanted to help him so they made a plan to get the shadowhunters on her side. I guess it is my destiny to save the shadow world and the rest of humanity. Oh, I forgot one minor detail. My name is Emerson Keaton Dakota Fairchild, but you can call me Emery.
