"Jamie you jerk!!" Aiden got up and was ready to tackle Jamie down. But Jamie abruptly stopped and pointed excitedly at the sky: "Aiden look! Look at the sunrise!" Aiden stumbled trying to pause his tackling and ended up falling to the floor: "God damn it Jamie... The sun rises every single day! It's just that you sleep in too late to see it!"

"Shush! Don't distract me."

The sun radiated warmth, lighting up everything in its path. Jamie slowly closed her eyes and allowed the morning sun to warm up her whole body. Sniffing the fresh mountain air, and listening to the early birds chirp, she felt as if the tiredness and sleepiness from the night has disappeared in a blink if an eye. A small gust of wind blew her hair up and twirled it around. She opened her arms as if to hug the fresh breeze as she sighed: "How nice.."

Aiden stared in awe as the warm sunlight hit Jamie's face and body, making her seem like a fairytale princess. He never realized how pretty Jamie really is. Even though he always jokes about getting married with her, but this time, now, all he wants to do is to keep her in his arms and not to share with anyone..

"W..water.." A low moan interrupted Jamie's enjoyment, and Aiden's as well. A little bit mad at the patient lying in the ground, Aiden secretly dissed the boy for waking up at the wrong time. Jamie, on the other hand, seeing that he has awoken, rolled a clean leaf into a funnel shape and slowly fed him some water.

After drinking some water, Damien opened his eyes slowly and immediately spotted the girl. The girl looks to be around 15-16 years of age and had red fiery hair and wore commoners clothes. Was this the person that had saved me? Damien thought and remembered the warm smile and the soft hand yesterday night. "You.." He mumbled.

Seeing that he has finally awoken, Jamie smiled relievedly: "You recover faster than I thought, I thought you were going to be unconscious for at least one or two days!" A bright smile and a cheery voice, Damien stared as the girl started to clean up the mess on the ground. It's been a long time since I saw a smile like that.. He thought.

Damien moved his fingers slightly and attempted to sit up, but failed and hit the ground with a slight thump. "You'd better stay still. Your injuries are beyond bad and Jamie took the whole night taking care of you. I won't forgive you if you let her hardworking go to waste and die now." A tall figure appeared before Damien. Since it was against the light, Damien could only see a head of red hair that's slightly darker than Jamie's, "I'll go back to the village later and find someone to carry.. Ow! Jamie why'd you hit me again!" Aiden covered his head and jumped. "Why'd you ruin my attempt at trying to be cool?" He whined. Seeing Jamie with her fist in the air, Aiden immediately took back the idea of her looking pretty. It must of been an illusion from the sunlight! It must be! He grumpily thought.

Ignoring Aiden's groans, Jamie put her hands at her waist and angrily disciplined Aiden: "What do you mean by 'won't forgive you'? You should know better about how to treat patients! Don't you remember anything that Jill taught you?" Seeing that Aiden looking dazed, Jamie face palmed and poked his arm: "Alright, alright, go back to the village and find someone to take.. Um.." Realizing that she hasn't even asked the boy for his name, Jamie turned around awkwardly and asked: "What's your name?"

"Damien.. My name's Damien." He turned his head to the side and answered, as if he couldn't see Jamie smiling all the time. Maybe it wasn't a smart choice to use his real name, he could cause trouble for these two and their village if people from the palace heard about him. But somehow, he didn't want to lie to the two people in front of him, even though he feels a slight tension between him and the red haired boy already.

Jamie smiled and introduced herself: "I'm Jamie, an apprentice doctor in Stein village. This guy right here is Aiden, the best hunter in the village. He helped a lot yesterday night as well!" Jamie dragged Aiden in front of Damien and forced him to say hi. Being held still by Jamie, Aiden awkwardly nodded: "Hey, I'm Aiden. "

"...Hey." Looking like he's never greeted anyone before, Damien's expressions were very stiff, "last night.. Thanks for the help." Aiden nodded at him and got up: "No problem."

Passing his bow and arrows to Jamie, Aiden patted her head: "I'm going to go down and ask for help, it'll at least take two or three hours or so, keep yourself safe, this isn't the village you know."

Jamie smiled and put the bow and arrows on her back: "I got it, I got it! I can protect myself just fine! Hurry up, I don't want to interfere with the harvest." Since its fall and the village farmer are all harvesting, it wouldn't be nice to trouble them. Aiden nodded and hurried off to the village.

After Aiden took off, Jamie went back beside Damien and checked his temperature once more, and felt relieved that it was back to normal. "You had a low fever last night, but thankfully it's all gone now. You'll recover in a few days." Seeing Damien struggle to get up again, Jamie hurriedly stopped him: "Don't move! Don't move! Even though you might feel fine right now, but the cuts are deep and I had to stitch them, if you move, it might cause the wound to re-open!"

"Stitch?"

"Yeah, because your wound was so big, it would take ages and ages for it to heal, and you could have an infection. So I stitched the wound with a needle, it helps prevent your wounds from opening. But I didn't carry any thread, so I had to use my hair strands.. " This way of treating injuries was carried over from Jamie's original world, and it scared the hell out of Jill when she first had done it. But after seeing that it does help with recovery, he stopped disapproving Jamie stitching wounds like clothes.

"...Sorry." As if feeling that it was very wrong to let a lady pull her hair out because of his injuries, Damien apologized almost automatically. But Jamie just shrugged it off and offered to feed him some more water: "Here. You lost a lot of blood, even though the wounds stopped bleeding, you would still feel thirsty right? " Damien, not wanting to refuse her offer, secretly gulped and forced himself to drink all the water in the leaf. But drinking water wasn't the problem, the problem was that, whenever he opened his eyes, he would always see Jamie smiling happily.

"Um..."

"Hmm?"

He was going to ask why she always has a smile, but decided to change the question last minute: "You and the other guy.. Are you guys siblings?"
