Sam's POV
Monday September 4, 2015

I sat here, eating my lunch in school. Wondering how Im gonna break the news to Chandler about all this crap.

I signed up for the whole money thing, but I have to wait two months or a little to be transferred to wherever the hell Im going. All I know is I gotta wait to leave to war.

I don't wanna die, but its for the best. Chandler was walking towards the table I was sitting at. He sat down and kissed me.

"Hey babe." He said.

"Howdy." I said blankly, although extremely nervous.

"Whats the matter? Something bugging you?" Chandler asked, lifting my chin.

"I need to talk to you bout somethin. Now." I said walking out into the empty hallway with him.

"Yeah?"

"Um... Uhh... You know that military contract? I kinda signed u-up for it?" I said, scratching the back of my neck.

Chandler looked like as if he's seen a ghost. His eyes started to water up, he paced back and forth. He kept repeating "No." under his breath, but only for it to get louder.

"Don't cry hun. Please don't cry, for me?" I whispered in his ear, patting his back while hugging him.

At this point he was sobbing. He buried his face in the crook of my neck. His fluffy hair tickling my face a bit. I couldn't help but shed a few tears hearing him cry like this. It was painful.

A wet spot was being made on my shoulder. "Look at me boy. Don't yap about this to anybody until I do, but y'know why Im doin this, right? No matter how much I'd love to stay here. I'm doin this for her." I whispered the last part then kissed his cheek.

"Please don't go away. I can't live with that. Please." Chandler begged.

"Y'know I gotta go boy. I can't back out, even if I wanted to. Look on the bright side, I have about three months left here in Georgia. Got a lotta time." I said trying to cheer him up.

"Its still not the same. Come on." Chandler said walking back to the cafeteria.

I follow him to where we were sitting. The boy doesn't even eat his food. Damn, this must've fucked Chandler up. I feel horrible.

He hugs me all of a sudden and tells me in my ear. "Don't worry babe, Ill make these three months up to you. I'll make them the best three months ever. Oh I'm gonna miss you." Chandler began crying again burying his face in my neck.

People started to stare, even Brianna. That bitch gave me a death glare. Hmph, she's the reason why Chandler and I broke up. I glared back at her.

She got up and walked up to us. Then she did something she will regret. Brianna smacked me across my face. Oh no she didn't.

I quickly got up, got her in a headlock, and wrestled her to the ground. She had trouble breathing for air. I gained control of her arms and leaned my knees on her elbows.

That outa hurt cause she started squealing for Chandler to help her. I slugged her a couple of times and she had a nose bleed. I was having the time of my life while people just gathered around and watched.

"Not today bitch..." I quietly said while smiling. Chandler just stared.

I evilly smirked while punching the shit outta her. "Samantha thats enough!" Somebody in the crowd yelled. My old friend, Katelyn. (Yes I am talking about Katelyn Nacon.)

She comes to this school!? Kate pulled me off of Brianna. "What the hell girl...?" She said pulling me into a quick hug.

Brianna got up, holding her nose and walked away. Half of her face was bruised. I said she would regret it. I used to watch rodeos back in Houston. I even rode a bull once.

It may not seem like it, but Im tough as nails. Or so I think. I was completely clean, and I was taken to the office with Katelyn and Chandler by my side.

I waited a few minutes for the AP to come. She was handling Brianna first before me.

"Long time no see Tex." Katelyn said seriously.

"I outa do the same to you for not tellin' me you came to this school." I said punching her arm.

We were friends from the start. Its been a couple of years since we've seen each other. Hell she was my best bud. Better than Camille...

"How are things around here for you?" She asked me.

"Just fine." I said, putting my hand on her shoulder.

The AP walked in and sat down. "Samantha, you will not get any suspension considering it was self defense. Although you will be taking a lower grade. Now go home."

All three of us walked out of the office and got our stuff. Chandler and Kate decided to leave with me. I began to talk.

"Lets head to my place."
