Captain. That was something you were going to have to get used to. You are the captain of your fathers boat and the proud owner of his shipping business. As the oldest sibling at 29 years old, you had inherited the rough business. You business hasn't been going so well recently due a rival company. They weren't really an established company but really a rag-tag boat with a band of brothers running it. Like you, they also got jobs from the same man. Fortunately, you work more towards the north than they do, but they are spreading out. Today you sit in Hoonah waiting for a job to be accepted. You decide to have a chat with Paul, the man who gives you jobs to do. You find him in his office aboard his boat. Like your boat, his has a large deck for shipping and a mechanical pulley system to move heavy items. The only difference is your boat is smaller and named "the Mary Anne" after your late mother. "Hi Paul, you have a minute to  talk?" He looks up from his paper work. "Yes, please sit down. What is in your mind?" You sit and say, "well, I just am a little worried about the Browns taking my business. They are very good and I don't think I can keep up." He nods thinking. "You are right, they are very good, hard working men." You look across his desk and wait for an answer. "I have an idea," he says suddenly, "I have a very large shipment and I know I can't make it on time. Why don't you both do the job. Just take one boat and you can split the pay evenly. It's only in Circleville, not more than a three day trip. What do you say?" You stare blankly at him. But then you begin to think that maybe it's not a terrible idea. Might as well give it a try. "Sounds like a plan." He smiles and tells you they were coming in today anyway. You leave him instructions on to where you are docked and head back to your boat to wait.
                       ...................
An hour later you hear voices next to your boat. "Captain?! Permission to board?" You hear a voice yell. You smile. It's so nice to be called captain. "Yes!" You yell back scrambling to clean up a bit. You open the cabin door to see four young men aboard your boat and staring at you with their mouths hanging open. You blush slightly as you catch sight a one of the older ones with long curly hair. He seems to have a very mature nature about him. You walk up and reach out your hand to the long haired man. "Captian (l/n), pleasure to meet you." He snaps out of it. "Bam Brown, nice boat you have here." "Yes, she is, isn't she?" He smiles at you. Next a man with short curly hair takes your hand energetically, "Matt, nice to meet you." Then the other two introduce themselves as Bear and Gabe. They seem very nice and eager to help. So, you set off to loading multiple items such as a few pieces of furniture, flour, car pieces and two snow machines. Finally everything is ready to go and you head out to open sea. The brothers are all exploring your ship and are amazed at how nice it is. The cabin has a seating area and counter tops along with a bathroom in the back. The rooms downstairs has a bathroom, kitchen area with eating space, and finally the bunk bed room. It can sell a whole crew of 12. Bam is the first one to  come up from the downstairs smiling. "Again, this is a very nice boat." You nod smiling, proud of your possession. He stands there silently next to you. It is a comfortable silence that goes on for a few more moments before he talks again. "So how did you become captain of this ship?" You explain to him your situation and your parents passing. "I'm sorry for your loss ." He says quietly. After finding a good cruising speed you both relax in the chairs. You talk for hours until Gabe interrupts you both. "Hey Bam, where is the flashli-" he is cut off by a death start from Bam. He slowly backs down the hatch. You smile and laugh at his seriousness. He in turn smiles at you. "You have the prettiest smile." You immediately blush and look away. "Why do you do that?" He ask. "What?" "You look away when I compliment you." "Well, because you are a very handsome man and I don't usually get that." This time it was his turn to blush. "Would you like to go on a date with me after this?" You smile and nod eagerly, "Yes!" He smiles a broad smile and reaches out to hold your hand. His hand stays there for the rest of the trip.
