Mama fainted when she went to identify Eves body. Daddy said that he shouldn't have brought her in the room at all.
Eve was still wearing the same clothes she was last seen in, and the bottom half of her was naked.
"What will we tell her kids?" Mama cried.
Daddy shook his head at mama. "They're small. They won't remember anything but us. We're the mom and dad now."
Mama and daddy came home and told everyone they found Eve, she had been stolen from us. Now it was time to bring her home and put her to rest.
It all must have been too much for mama to cope with. It isn't fair to bury your child before you.
We found mama on the floor, blue from the pills, and cold from the nights chill. Can't say she didn't know how to go without flair.
Eve was stolen and now Mama took herself out of our lives.
