Meant To Be

(It's midnight and I'm up writing more! Oh well. Okay so this chapter may be bad because I'm tired and I can barely keep my eyes open but you know I try!)

My phone was vibrating. I rubbed my eyes and looked at my clothes. I realized I didn't change last night. I check to see what time it is. 9:30. Now who would be texting me... Wait.. I look and see I got 2 new messages. One was from Jeffrey an the other was my mom. I decided to read my moms.

'Kayla, I went to work early and didn't wanna wake you so I left you a note on the counter! Read it honey. Mom'

I rolled my eyes. Then I clicked on Jeffrey's.

'Hey Kayla! We are going to a kind of fancy restaurant. So no jeans and t-shirt!'

Boy was he cute. I wish he was mine but I got to play it cool and not act so lovey. I mean he knows I like him but does he like me that much? It may be weird to tell him he would be my first boyfriend. Not to mention first kiss!

My phone buzzed again!

It was Jeffrey again!

'Kayla I have a gift for you at the restaurant. I know it may be weird considering we just met yesterday but I wanna give it to you sooner rather than later. And I have a question for you.'

I laughed and texted him back.

'Okay! I have something for you also! Hopefully you like it. And I'm sure I will love that question!'

*woosh*

It was sent. I threw my phone on my bed and closes my curtains. I heard there were some creepers in this town. I go into my bathroom and close the door. I start the shower and get in. I get lost in my thoughts about Jeffrey and start singing 'Just A Dream'

Then I realized

It was only Just A Dreaaaaaaammm'

I always loved holding out that note.

I got out of the shower and dried off and wrapped my towel around me. I went into my closer and found my black skirt and blue blouse. I went into the bathroom and changed. I blow dried my hair and curled it. I straightened my bangs and did my make up. I decided to do mascara, a little bit of blue eyeshadow and black eyeliner. I went into my closet and grabbed my black flats. I checked my phone and saw I had a missed call from Jeffrey so I called him back.

"Kayla!"

"Jeffrey!"

"We are on our way to pick you up."

"Good I just got done getting ready."

"Be there in a few!" And he hung up. No bye. Strange. I grabbed my blue purse and put my phone and money in it. My doorbell rang and I saw the car. I walked/ran down the steps. I opened the door to Jesse.

"Hey Jesse"

"Hey Kayla"

We walked to the car and I got in and sat next to Jeffrey.

"Wow"

"What?"

"You look beautiful." He said and started blushing. Man was he cute.

"You look handsome." I said giving him a smile.

"Lets go!" Jared yelled and we were on our way to the restaurant.
