Meant To Be

(Okay it's been 2 days since the last update. I had to re-read my last chapter to write this one. Enjoy!)

"This place looks amazing!" Jesse yelled but yelled quietly. We all nodded in agreement. It looked amazing. Chandeliers hanging over every table, Red table clothes, the lights weren't that bright but it made it more of a fancy place, and a huge chandelier was hung right above a beautiful wooden dance floor that had couples all over it.

"So Kayla what are you getting to drink?" Jacob asked.

"Water." I responded.

"That's what we always get!" Jared screamed. Why does he have to be so loud.

"Nice." I said and took out my phone and saw my best friend back in Texas was calling me.

"I'll be right back I have to take this." I say and go to the bathroom.

"Hello"

"Kayla! Oh my gosh I miss you" said Emma.

"I missed you too Emma but I can't talk I'm kind of on a date..." I said regretting I told her.

"Oh okay! Tell me about it later." And she hung up. Wow no questions asked. I walk back to the table and see only Jeffrey is there.

"Where are the others?" I ask as I sit down.

"Some fans asked them to dance." He said and looked towards the dance floor. I saw Jesse and Jared. Jacob must have been farther in the mass of people dancing.

"Were you not asked?" I asked and he looked surprised I asked.

"I was but I said no because I was waiting for someone to come back so I can dance with her." I blushed when he said that.

"Kayla would you like to dance?" He asked.

"Yes Jeffrey." I said and we headed to the dance floor. My hands were on his shoulders and his were on my waist. We were just talking and telling jokes and laughing, but a question never came up.

"Hey Kayla"

"Yes Jeffrey?"

"Are your legs tired? Because you've been running through my mind all day" he said and we both laughed. That was the cheesiest thing I eve heard. But it was also kind of cute.

"Kayla"

"Yeah?"

"I have a serious question for you" he said and looked in my eyes.

"Yes Jeffrey?"

"Will you be my girlfriend?"
