I stare at the beautiful boy telling me I need to defeat these three evil witches.

"A, B and C generally dont fight in person, they have monsters to fight for them. Though, if I were to describe them they would be an evil version of the Fates," the boy continues, "I really hate comparing them to the Fates though."

"Wait-!" I try.

"Also this really isn't a good time for you to come to camp because of the trilympics. Well, the girls in your cabin can help you pick an easier event for you."

"Uhm, excus-," I fail yet again.

"Oh yeah, did you meet Henron, I'm sorry 'bout him, he's a bit of a prick. Hope he wasn't to mean, if he was I'll give him a bit of his own medicine when I see him. He probably didnt explain anything either, that's his job so he really should get fired already. I'll talk to a counselor about him when we get back to th-"

"SHUT UP!" I jump up and glare at the boy who's suddenly lost his composure and is looking a bit frighten now that I've gotten his attention.

"What is this camp? Why the heck am I going with you? I didn't ask you did I?" I continue harshly.

"No guess you didn't, but you don't exactly have a choice whether you go," he trails off apologetically.

"But-," I don't know what to say.

"Sorry, you're comin' with me."

The next movements he takes happen so fast I only have time to realize what he does.

He scoops me up and runs deep into the forest as though I weigh no more then Rose. I'm not insecure about my body, in fact, I'm a bit confident about myself. It's just amazing he can lift me.

I'm so busy marveling at his strength it takes me a second to realize we've stopped moving.

I wriggle out of his arms and watch him start climbing the tree.

"Well start climbing!" he exclaims as though it's obvious what I should be doing.

"No," I stand my ground.

"You do realize I could just carry you up," he raises his eyebrows.

Terrified of the prospect of falling off of his back I start climbing.

"Can you at least tell me why I have to climb this thing?" I complain.

"To get to the camp," he says.

"So what is it, at the top of this tree?"

"I guess you could say that."

"What do you mean?"

"Okay, now hold your breath."

"Why-?"

"Just do it!"

I oblige.

"Now jump and exhale at the same time."

I look at him like he's crazy, well he is!

"JUST DO IT! I won't let you fall."

I hesitate for what feels like a hour and he's pretty patient about it. Finally I jump and exhale.

The world is spinning around me and I feel and jerk right around my chest and I let the wind carry me where it's taking me.

Just as suddenly as it starts it ends and I'm falling.

Ten feet.

Nine feet.

Eight.

Seven.
