Prom Night: Final Chapter.

I stood in front of the mirror, the straightener was ran through my hair over and over until my hair was finally straightened.
I felt nervous, but at the same time excited; to be going to prom with my best friend and boyfriend. When I told Kayla and the others, they were ecstatic about it. It was then when I confronted both Kayla and Mark about the notes, I knew it was their hand writing; and of course, all they did was smiled and said I was welcome.
I looked to my phone, it was only five and prom wasn't for another two hours; the date was already planned out. CC would pick me up, take me to prom; where us and our friends would have the time of our lives. Afterwards, go to Logan's for dinner.
I closed my eyes as Jacqui applied the eye shadow, followed by the eye liner.
Kayla was doing her own touch ups as well, the idea was to ride in a limo and arrive at the prom all fabulous looking. The limo belonged to Jack's uncle's brother, who agreed to lend us the ride. The driver of course, would be Jack's uncle.
"Are you two going to kiss?" Jacqui questioned running the eye liner over my eye, I could only shrug.
"I don't know? I don't want him to think I'm being pushy about my feelings." I murmured.
Kayla looked to me. "You guys have been together for two weeks, I am pretty sure CC isn't going to back out from a kiss." She told me.
Jacqui grinned. "I still think it's cute he asked you out, I mean the whole school was beginning to wonder when he would ask you." She said.
I rose a brow. "The whole school..?" I questioned.
The girls nodded. "Yep, CC was aware of the note in the locker idea; he was all for it. He was going to ask you tonight, but we decided to let it happen sooner so it wouldn't be awkward." Kayla added.
I smiled softly. "Well, that's sweet yet interesting.. I was totally oblivious to this plan." I said.
"We know." Kayla and Jacqui said in unison before grinning the continued the make up session.

When CC and the guys arrived at the house in the gray limo, my mom immediately wanted pictures of all of us. It was amusing when all of the guys tried to run back to the limo, I think it took about twenty minutes before the picture taking was officially done. We all climbed into the limo and headed to the school for our prom night.
Kayla and Mark walked in first, arm in arm; followed by me and CC arm in arm, Ashley and Jayy followed after us holding hands; which earned some laughter from other students and Jack skipped behind us throwing invisible flowers in both directions.
Yes, I knew. This would our night to remember.
I darted over to the punch bowel, I was ready for the mango liquid to enter my mouth and go down my throat into my tummy. Yeah, I was the weird one.
I drank like two or six glasses of the punch, the darted off to the bathroom; I also noted. I wasn't the girlie type, so running in a dress like I would in pants. Was. A . Fucking. Pain.
I exited the bathroom to only have a hand holding out for mine to take, my eyes met CC's and I smiled softly.
"Wait.. you washed your hands right?" CC asked me.
I rose a brow. "I was expected to wash them?" I questioned.
CC's expression of terror had me laughing before I grinned.
"Of course I washed them." I said.
We made our way onto the dance floor as 'two is better than one' began to play.
I smiled as CC placed his hand on my back then took my other hand as we danced to the music, all we did was gazed into each others eyes. We were really doing this, we were trying this relationship idea out. Together.

When the song ended, we made it over to our table; I looked at the food table then to the dance floor. I yawned softly, loud music began to play and a lot of the students raced over to the floor to dance.
I shook my head in amusement.
We were only two hours in, and prom lasted until midnight; I looked to CC who was messing with his drink.
I rose a brow then smiled when one of my favorite songs began to play, CC looked to me; the students removed themselves from the floor as the couples walked up next.
CC removed himself from the table, he took my hand; then lead me to the dance floor. My eyes were on him the whole time, he held onto my right hand as his left went to my lower back and smiled softly. We gazed into each others eyes for the longest moment while 'All I Need' by Within Temptation began to play.
He didn't let my hand go as we moved to the right then to the left, followed by the middle then back. The dance involved a lot of moving and I was impressed to find out, that we both were able to dance this well. I noticed the students removed themselves from the floor as they watched us in awe. All I could do was smile brightly at him as he did the same, he lifted my hand then spun me in that circle which involves a twist. I held onto him, as he brought me into an embrace; our hearts connected and they were beating as one, like that night at the lake house.
I brought my head into his neck as I fell into his hold, we danced for the whole song; and when it ended. The building was full of clapping and cheering, followed by whistling and awing.
I smiled looking at CC, he grinned looking at me.
"I am glad you said yes Haley." He told me.
I grinned back now. "I would of been a fool if I told you no, Christian. Now; kiss me." I told him.
His eyes lit up, and when our lips connected; I felt this excitement run over me as I smiled into the kiss.
I knew right then and there, he would be the one I spent my life with; who I wouldn't let slip away. No matter how tough our situation could get, he would be the one I fell in love with and would love no other.
He was mine, and I was his.
And according to me, he was everything I ever wanted.

I hope you guys enjoyed this story cx I know it wasn't very long; but what can I say? I am new to the whole high school romance action life. I tried, and I am proud with how it turned out.
I was going to update the last chapter for tomorrow, but decided on doing it tonight. I don't know when, but a new story will begin sometime in the next week; maybe. It won't be a fanfiction, it will be something more interesting and less romancy.. that isn't a word; but it is now.
I want to thank all of my readers for sticking by and reading this story, followed by my others ones. I couldn't of done this, without knowing people were taking the time and reading them. I mean, they are award winning like a lot of stories on here; but I like to post my stories on here. To know people will take the time and read them, and even if you don't read them completely; at least I know you read some of it or brought it to your attention.
The next story will be based on demons&vampires, so stay in tuned to the updates I post if you're up for blood, death; and I guess some romance? Maybe? I don't know, its new and fresh story; that needs more plotting if I want it to work out.
