"Are we there yet?" Jayy asked in a whiny tone.
I rolled my eyes, when we got to the trail; I was a bit thrown off because I thought we would actually get to drive up there and that Ashley was joking about walking.
I switched hands to pull my luggage with a frown, I glanced over my shoulder to see Mark and Kayla hand in hand and both of them carrying their bags while talking and smiling.
I rolled my eyes with a soft smile.
"Jayy, you have asked me this five times now; actually. You've asked this since we parked and started to walk, we will get there when we get there." Ashley hissed.
He sounded like a parent talking to Jayy like that, I looked to him to make sure Ashley didn't hurt his feelings.
Jayy just glared daggers at the back of the others head and I grinned.
Jack and CC had remained quiet since we got here, maybe they wanted to ask the same thing but just let Jayy be the guinea pig and deal with Ashley's wrath.
I yawned softly, gratefully; the clouds were out today so we wouldn't have to deal with the somewhat heat March had to offer.
It felt like hours before we were greeted with a beautiful and large lake house, I stood there with wide brown eyes; full of amazement and amusement.
"Ash, this place is beautiful!" I exclaimed.
Ashley grinned as we all walked up the stairs then into the house, all of our eyes were wide at the sight.
There was a large kitchen, a game room; a good sized living room with a flat screen t.v. The house had a basement with work out machines, along with a pool table. We all took the opportunity to tour the house, me and Kayla took the third floor; the guys took the second and Ashley stayed on the first.
I looked in the bedroom's and bathrooms; I seriously wanted to live here.
I turned to Kayla who had been grinning the whole time.
"We have to talk to Ashley about convincing his uncle to let us have the house this summer." She told me. I nodded in agreement.
"I know he said a lake house, but I didn't think it would be this beautiful and awesome!" I said walking into one of the rooms, there was a large walk in closet with clothes hanging up and expensive looking shoes on racks. The king sized bed was made with six pillows on it, there was a balcony and it had a amazing view of the mountains and lake.
I turned to Kayla smirking. "I claim this room." I told her, I placed my luggage on the bed then exited the room with the other.
After thirty minutes of adventuring the inside, we all headed outside to look around. Ashley said that his uncle owned forty-five acres of land, I wasn't no person who knew much about that; but I knew it had to be a lot.
I literally did not want to leave this place, I was too much in awe with it.
"How about we hit the hot tub, tonight?" Ashley suggested.
We all nodded, no arguments; and with that. We headed back inside.
"Ash, do you think you're uncle would let you have this for the summer?" Mark questioned, his arms crossed. Apparently Mark had the same idea, or Kayla just told him about it and told her boyfriend to ask.
Ashley looked to him with a shrug. "I really don't know, he's pretty cool about loaning me things; but his lake house for two months is a hard one to ask about." He explained.
I nodded in understanding, it made sense. His uncle didn't even know us that well and Ashley didn't even talk to him that much.
I looked around the house, "can we go see the lake?" I asked.
Ashley looked to me with a nod. "Yeah." He said, and with that; we all followed him out of the house and into the woods.
When we got to the lake, Ashley had to rip me back; because when I looked down. My eyes were wide fear and anxiety.
The only way to get to the lake, was jumping. We were standing on a fucking cliff drop, I felt my breath hitch as I stood there.
"We have to jump off this cliff if we want to swim?" Jack asked with his arms crossed.
Ashley turned to him. "Well, you could always walk two hours back which takes an hour to get there in car or foot if you're a wimp." He said.
I crossed my arms. "Well I'll be the wimp, I have a thing about heights; and this cliff is a good example." I told him.
Ashley looked to me, his arms crossed. "That's not fun, what if you're eyes were closed?" He asked.
I glared softly. "I would feel myself falling." I said.
I looked down at the water, the waves violently crashed against the rocks and I felt sick just standing here; I walked away from the cliff then looked to Ashley.
"If you're confident, you jump." I declared.
Ashley rose a brow, he removed his shirt then walked away from us; I looked to the others then felt a brush of wind race past me as Ashley ran then jumped off of the cliff.
"HELL YEAAAAAHHHHHH!" He yelled, we all ran to the edge and watched him hit the water then come back up, he grinned with a thumbs up. "Who's next?" He yelled.
Everyone examined looks and I frowned, I walked over to a tree then took a seat on the soft grass; before I knew it. Everyone was undressing and preparing themselves, I looked to Kayla who was lifted up by Mark who was grinning; she was holding onto him for dear life and when he started running she was yelling at him to stop and then it happened. He jumped off, with her. All you could hear was Kayla screaming and Mark laughing until they hit the water, I looked to Jack and Jayy who looked to each other before running and jumping.
I brought my knees to my chest with a frown, I looked up to find CC taking a seat next to me; I rose a brow amused.
"You're not going to jump?" I asked.
CC looked to me. "What? And leave you all alone up here, for some killer to find you and make some fillet out of you? I'll skip this one out." He said.
I rolled my eyes, but managed a soft smile. "He was such a dork." We would be spending seven days here, and this would be the perfect time to hang out with my best friend more.
I yawned. "Wanna head back to the house? It'll probably be a bit before the others get here." I told him.
CC looked to me with a soft smile. "Sure." He said getting up, then helped me to my feet; we walked back arm in arm. When we got to the house, I walked up the stairs then headed straight to the bathroom. I wanted to take a shower, even though I took one this morning; I wanted to bathe and I didn't want to get in the hot tub.
After the refreshing shower, I walked down the stairs with a towel on my head then looked to CC who was watching t.v. It looked like "Halloween" was on, his eyes were glued to the screen; just like they would be playing a video game.
I plopped down next to him with a yawn.
"We should prep something for supper tonight." I told him.
CC looked to me. "What do you have in mind?" He asked.
I grinned. "I saw some steaks, we could throw them on the grill and have BBQ." I said.
CC's eyes lit up. "I have no complaints, lets get cooking!" He said running to the kitchen, I shook my head laughing before following after the other.
The guys were going to be thrilled.

I am seriously debating on adding chapters nine and ten tonight, but then again; I know I need to space the chapters out so its not rushed.
