Every child has a number. The number will stick with you till you can't stand the experiments, or you become an intellect. Either way, you are scarred for life. Those who cant stand the experiment, they go back to their family. If you become an intellect, you never see your birth parents again. You live a life in riches. You are forced to work in a lab or in the government. Everyone wishes to be an intellect, except the few who don't obey the government. Those people are guaranted a life in prison or death.
I have seen people come and go, not able to stand it. I am now 15, 10 years of serums and needles, of torture, and as a lab rat. The only impact on me from the serums, is just intelligence. Now I know why we don't go to school.
They keep telling me 5 more years. 5 more years. Yet I am 15 and still not out. I heard that they will soon make it a law that the experiments will stop when we are 16. 11 years I will be in here.
Numbers. So many numbers that you have to remember. Age, years, other things...but one number will always stick with me. One number will haunt me for the rest of my life. That number is what makes me different from others. That number is: 1. I am experiment #1.
