Brayden and Jacob joined us later that day. We then stay a few more days till someone came to take us back. They airlifted Lexi to Seattle Children's and we were drove there with this girl who claims to be Caleb's sister.

"Here we are." We pull up to the hospital. We all hop out. I quickly run to the front desk.

"Alexandra Carter."

"Sir, calm down. Do you have an adult with you?"

"An adult? You think I'm a minor? I'm 18."

"ID then..." Someone grabs my shoulder. She places her ID. "Here you go."

"Sorry for the troubles." He hands us visitors passes. 8:00, right when visiting time starts.
We head up to the sixth floor.

In children's, they are seperated into 4 sections, river, ocean, mountain, and forest. Mountain is what I believe to be the surgical part. River is the inpatient. Forest is the cancer and Emergency Department. And ocean is the radiology.

Where Lexi's room is at the moment, if they ever had to transfer her back to the ICU for some reason, it's a short walk away.

We get up to the 6th floor and walk into her ward. This part is very quiet. I sometimes see children laying in their beds, sleeping. Though it's only 8 am, you'd think children would be up by now. Only 1 nurse for the 23-bed floor.

"Um. Excuse me? Do you know which room is Alexandra Carter's?" I ask.

"Yes. But only two people can visit at a time. The other two has to wait somewhere else." The nurse replied.

I look around. "Brayden and Jacob can take the first turn. I've been with her ever since she was shot." They nod and follow the nurse.

Alice and I wait by the elevators. I sit down, holding my head in my hands. She sits next to me. "What's wrong?"

"What happens if she doesn't wake up?"

"That won't happen. She will. Now it's you I'm worried about. You need some serious sleep."

"No. I'm fine."

She stares at me. "No you aren't fine. I'll bring you all home tonight. And not the lab, it's shut down, for now."

"Hurricane ridge...?" I look up. "Alice are you familiar with a Hurricane Ridge?"

"Yeah. It's a park in the northern olympics. Why?"

"Cause that is where they are hiding Caleb."

"You know where my brother is!?!?"

"I don't know the exact location, but and area around Hurricane Ridge. We need to tell the authorities."

"Right away. Good think I work for the government." She takes out her phone and talks to what I think is someone who can help. "...thank you. Bye. They are coming tomorrow. We'll search then..."

"You know what, I think that bed is calling me. But first." My stomach rumbles. "Breakfast."

"Alright. Me too."
