Nalek, a planet full of magic and mystery. Here magic is apart of everyday life. Most of the world population can use magic. Many creations of the people of this world run off of magic. This is done by using a magic crystal as a power source. There are many different types of magic crystals, and each type has a use. Magic crystals are sold in every city of the world.
There are nine major cities throughout Nalek. Each city was built around one of the nine dungeons. Each dungeon has a building around the entrance, that are different colors. Each dungeon is named after the color of the building around it's entrance. The dungeons are home to many different types of creatures that are all ready to kill those who foolishly go in. Most people would never dare enter. However, dungeon crawlers, are those who are brave or crazy enough to go in. Killing the creatures in the dungeon causes them the drop money and/or items. These monsters will magically reappear given time. Dungeon crawlers make a living off of killing monsters in the dungeons and collecting the loot. Other make a living my supplying the dungeon crawlers.
Dungeon crawlers have banded together to form organization called leagues. Each league is formed with a certain purpose in mind. Some are formed to try and clear all the floors of the dungeon. Others are formed to make the leaders rich from the grunts. While a few are there as a business to give dungeon crawlers jobs. Most leagues are highly respected by the public around the dungeons. Dungeon crawlers who don't join a league are labeled solo. Solos are looked down upon by everyone else. Most solos don't last long in the dungeons.
