While the two boys were having a jolly old time talking to Major Taylor outside the locker rooms, the girls were dealing with a slight problem.
As Blair was checking her attire and making sure her weapons were ready and functioning properly as small migraine began to form at the back of her head. She winced quietly making sure the other two wouldn't notice as she slowly made her way to her locker leaning against it as her breathing became heavy and slow, small beads of sweat forming on her face which was gradually growing paler. The migraine grew into painful stabs at her brain as she slowly begins to lose consciousness sinking to the floor.
"Blair?" Tekla would notice her friend sink to the floor as she runs over her arms moving quickly to catch Blair before she hit the floor. "Blair? Wake up..Blair??" Tekla looks over at Val with a concerned look as the blunette rushes over and kneels beside them as Blair begins to regain consciousness. "Take it easy Blair." Val would say quietly her eyebrows furrowing into a concerned frown.
"I'm fine guys..I really am." Blair would mumble her eyes glazy as she looks at her two friends. "My soul..my core..just hurts again" She'd close her eyes trying to sit up and distance herself from the two but Tekla would clutch her tightly keeping her down.
Before Blair had come to the academy, she lived in a village on Itopia with her family and loved ones and lived a fairy tail life before the Machinists decided they would wage war on every planet and sent out scouting parties to send destructive messages to the planets. Blair's village was part of that message. As Blair was surrounded in flames and blood while her dead mother lay in her arms a new fire ignited in her and a voice calling to her. A demon.
Dealing with Demons considered unforgivable in Itopia's culture as demons were know to only bring death and destruction to those around them. But Blair had no choice but to answer to the voice..the voice of thedemon Sephtis. Sephtis agreed to give Blair his power and protect all those she loved if she sold half of her core energy with him and half of her soul. And she did, the Machinists that had decimated her village were burned with the evil fires and bright light of Blair's new power but she dared not use it again, as using that power slowly destroys her each time she uses it.
Since Blair arrived at the academy she made fast friends with Valkoriye, Tekla, Hikaru and Torin but she never told them about her past until Valkoriye and Tekla caught her weeping and shaking in her room one night. She told them everything and they swore not to tell a single soul, despite Blair wanting no help in gaining her other half of her soul back the girls helped in any way they could in finding her soul again.
During the girls long searches they had found that Sephtis had sold Blair's soul along to another demon the Arch-demon Loki at an extremely high price. Val met with the Arch Demon Loki and tried to bargain for Blair's soul but the demon would not give in.
'If Blair wants her other half back she'll have to meet the requirements before I even think about giving it back. She has two options option one, one hundred souls are to be sacrificed to me, all pure and innocent or she finds me something that I think is as worthy as her soul' Those were the words the demon had hissed to Val, his voice still brought shivers to her body.
Now most people would e happy that they still have half their soul with them, but in galaxy if you die without your whole soul, you become a slave to the demon who has the possession of the other half of your soul. These people perform deeds and tricks upon the living becoming entertainment for the demons that own them.
"Blair..I'm going to tell the Lt.Colonel you're not up for this mission, I'll tell him you've picked up an illness, You shouldn't be leaving the academy when you're like this" Val said as she ran her hand through Blair's blonde hair with a small comforting smile. "No" Blair argued loudly "I want to visit those ruins, I want to look! This maybe our only chance of defeating the enemy!"
Tekla and Valkoriye exchanged worried looks as Blair moved her gaze from one to the other. "I want to go..so please let me.."
