Cedric and I walked silently through the woods, the leaves were falling and there was a pleasant essence of the upcoming Autumn in the air. We were not going to the usual dating places, I was sure about that. Cedric's arms were around me, providing me with warmth. I knew I was helplessly falling for Cedric Diggory.
"Cedric, where are we going?" I asked eagerly.
" You'll soon come to know, be a little patient Miss Elizabeth."
"Okay."
In a distance I could see Ron and Mione . They would make a perfect couple but I had my sincerest doubts as to whether they would ever confess their feelings for each other.
" Elizabeth?" Cedric called.
" Yes, Cedric?"
" I need you to close your eyes."
" And why should I do that?"
"Because your totally gorgeous boyfrien........" He stopped when he realized what he was saying.
I looked down, blushing.
" Lizzy, I...." He stuttered and called me Lizzy for the first time.
"Its okay Cedric."
" No, Liz you need to listen to me." He pulled me towards him and forced me to look at him.
Our eyes met. He looked at me as if he was reading all my thoughts and emotions. His topaz eyes made me breathless.
He held out a rose for me.
I glanced at the rose and smiled.
" Your girlfriend will be jealous, Ced."
" Girlfriend?" He asked confusedly.
" Cho Chang." I replied.
"Do I need to remind you I broke up nearly a month before Liz?" He said.
" You stopped calling me Elizabeth." I proclaimed with glee.
He grinned.
" Don't worry. I'll start calling you Lizzy from now. But please remember I have no girlfriend until....."
" Until what?" I asked, smiling softly.
" You decide to take up that position."

I looked up at him.
" Did the ever gorgeous Cedric Diggory just propose to me?" I asked to make the situation lighter.
"Lizzy I am serious. I Love You. Cho never meant anything to me. I only dated her to make you jealous but you didn't realize. Elizabeth Potter, you are my life."
"Cedric, I......." I was unsure as to what to say.
I really liked Cedric. He was always so caring and funny not to mention the most gorgeous guy of the school. But was I ready for a relationship?
"Lizzy, I am ready to wait for you. But can you just tell whether you can love me?"
I looked at his topaz eyes, anyone could see he was sincere, his eyes deepening into mine and I don't know what came up on me. I brought my face near to his and before I knew it, we were kissing like anything.
" Do I take that for a yes?" Cedric asked after we had finished our make out session.
I nodded, blushing.
Cedric tucked in a tuft of my hair and kissed me on the forehead.
" I have always been there and I'll always be there for you Elizabeth. Now, close your eyes."
I did as I was told.
We walked silently. Me, now in the arms of my boyfriend Cedric Diggory. I must admit I am ecstatic to have him as my boyfriend. After all, I did have a huge crush on him.
" Are we there yet?" I asked.
" Be patient, my love." He said, caressing my hair freely.
He was so cute!!! The way he said 'my love' made my heart all electrified. I was unconditionally, irrevocably in love with Cedric Diggory.
After a while, he removed his hands from my eyes. And there in front of me lied the most amazing place I had ever see.
A lake with crysal blue water was surrounded by willows and midst of it all was a huge pile of grey rocks, beautifying the place to the epitome of perfection.
"WoW!" I exclaimed with wonder.
"You like it?" He asked me. His head resting on my shoulder.
"I love this place Cedric." I kissed him lightly.
"I am glad you love it." He told me sincerely.
We sat down in one corner, under a willow tree, our hands intertwined.
"So Lizzy, I just wanted to ask. Do you want to make our relationship public? Or we could just keep it a secret till that magazine on us by Skeeter is published?" He asked.
I grunted as I remembered the Magazine on Ced and me was expected next week.
"That's perfectly ok with me." I said.
Cedric pulled me towards him. I rested my head on his chest. It felt just right.

We sat in silence for some time.
After that Cedric pulled out a picnic basket.
I made a face.
"What happened?" He asked.
" You ruined the silence." I explained.
"Oh I am so sorry Lizzy. But, I cant have my girlfriend going starved. You brother will skin me alive." He grinned.
